More times then not, Third eye lasted longer then shadows would. My best one was.

/WAR trumps it still for over all dmg, but SAM adds survivability as well as some DD, where /NIN only adds surivability.

Not sure how well it'd put up vs Dual Wield II (especially WAR/NIN's), but I'd hafto agree than it's considerably better when it comes to h2h and 2-handed weapons at the least.

Has it been tested to work with hand to hand? I've never bought in to it being a possibility since it's technically not a two-handed weapon, which hasso and seigan only work with.

You don't have SAM?

It's level uh.. 4 I think. I'll probably work on it soon. Hasso'll definitely assist in leveling that pain in the ass called Scythe.

My sam is currently 16 and until i ding 66 with drg, im not touching it. lol Ive got all the time in the world tonight and tomorrow to get it to 66, and when i do, im all over sam til 37.

Recast for stun, drain, aspir, abs-tp, etc really suck ass with those new sam abilities up (yes, I realize you can cancel them but in a fast paced pt this is a huge pain in the ass and you can forget about stun acc), and on /sam you only get +5 str and very light haste. Doesn't seem worth giving up zerk/warcry/da for, or even shadows in a merit cannon.

Atleast with SAM main, its not a set +5. From what I heard, its a set percentage.

I haven't tried it myself though, so I might be wrong ;p

DRG/SAM still isn't that good, at least in Dynamis-Xarcabard the damage lost from losing berserk and double attack is noticeable... and hasso doesn't really seem all that effective. At least, not in xarc.

Have yet to merit with it.
