I think everyone is caught up and has been on topic for the most part. Firestreak disagrees with the OP, others don't and that's where we are now.
 
What is this talk about their not being pre-orders for the PS3 in the United States? GameStop and EB definitely did take preorders.

And it was Japan that only had 88,400 PS3s on launch. The United States had 400,000 shipped.

Let's compare:

JP launch: Massive lines, rich salarymen paying homeless people to wait in line, console sold out in minutes, sales sporadic and underwhelming since.

US launch: Massive lines, people being shot/stabbed, chaos in many locations, console sold out in minutes, sales anemic and disappointing since.

France: 50 people showed up out of an expected 1,000.

Australia: ~100 people show up in Sydney in the same spot where 1000+ showed up at launch for the 360 and Wii.

Czech Republic: They sold all 1000, I think.

(you forgot) Poland: 7 people in line at midnight.

Germany: 150-200 in line out of expected 2,500.

Greece: I don't know how many they sold but that presale show was kinda neat.

I still haven't beaten Final Fantasy X-2. Somehow the thought of spending all that time watching girls change outfits lacks appeal. I could probably manage it, but that idiotic guitar that firing off at the end of every battle grates on my nerves.
 
The only reason I want to beat FF X-2 is because...

a) I spent money buying it.
b) Despite a bad story, it's pretty decent in terms of gameplay.
c) I stopped playing on the final dungeon because that's where I was when FFXI came out.
d) I'm not looking for 100% completion, just 1 victory.
 
If Xbox 360 + Blueray add-on = more than PS3... much internet lutz shall ensue.

By the way... who's gonna have more exclusives by the time PS3 ISN'T only a few months after it's launch?

And Harmonix isn't doing Guitar Hero anymore. That and the fact Guitar Hero 2 is coming out for the 360 means take it off your list lol

No... No more Guitar Hero?

There was a compUSA near me that had a similar setup for their 360 a month or so after it came out. I used to have a picture of it on my phone. My friend and I laughed for a good 15 minutes about it.

Ironically four months later he bought one, and three months after that his was very much out of order.
 
If that one bottle was Keiths, I'd take it.
 
Its actualy a mistake. If you buy that much Fosters they'll throw in a 360. Strangely enough, no one took it.
