I already said it was an opinion, days ago, but given that the reviews for PS3 launch titles aren't that hot, it's a pretty damn wide-spread opinion. Going with it's an opinion, stop antagonizing people who express it, if you're entitled to yours, we're entitled to ours; especially when it's the same fucking opinion.
Yes, you're saying the good to "counter" the bad, and yet I keep expecting to hear about financing or how I should order now in your posts. The only good things is that it's a blu-ray player and it's powerful, these are things that were never in dispute and are completely irrelevant to the problems that people are talking about, but you seem to think that the cell processor's power is the panacea to any of the PS3's problems. Bad games, poor launch numbers, backwards compatibility problem, not all systems running at 100%? Who cares, they've got blu-ray! You're completely unresponsive, you just keep saying the same two things over and over in hopes that we'll go away and somehow stop being right.
I'm a Nintendo fan, fanboy would imply that I'm jacking off to my Nintendo games or that I totally disregard any negatives about Nintendo consoles when I've never done either. Nintendo's fucked up before, big time(Virtual boy, keeping N64 as cartridges, SNES internet, R.O.B., etc), but you're completely ignoring how Sony is following the exact same trend. Expensive designing costs and difficult to design, turning large portions of the fan base away, developers jumping ship, this all happened with the N64. It might not happen with Sony, but given that it happened to the biggest video game company before, if you can't see that it's at least possible(some think likely, but oh no that's an "opinion") then you're a blind fanboy.
PS3 has some things in the plus column, but there's a lot in the minus they have to deal with before it takes the #1 slot.

Maybe it's all of the Sony fanboy's idiotic posts about how the lack of supply increases demand, or how because they sold out the ridiculously small amount of units they made that it shows just how popular the system is. Obviously they wouldn't have enough at launch, no one ever expected they would; but if idiots would stop acting like the fact that they sold out every PS3 was a big deal, people would stop caring about the very small amount of units made. Why still the bitching? So few released? well many of you said you had no care to get a PS3 for awhile, if at all, anyways.. why still the bitching?
This is obviously in reference to someone else, I've already said many times I could drop the $600 to buy a PS3 right now if I wanted to, but I have zero interest in the console. If blu-ray doesn't turn out to be a complete failure and PS3 actually gets some games that will raise more than a "meh, pretty but boring" in me, and if I ever actually get a HDTV; then I'll buy a PS3, full-price even. The problem with the price is that it's not worth the cost now, in a year from now is an entirely different story, but people who are frothing at the mouth over getting a PS3 when pretty much all you're going to do is play your PS2 games on it(and not even all of them), you can't seriously call that a great buy.The cost? you're telling me you can't save up some money over time to get it? It's not that hard if you work as most around here do. You just have to be patient? What? gotta have it now? Learn some damn patience
