Pup to be the first mythic?

For those of you who don't read BG or KI it is believed that one JP pup might be the first person to complete a mythic weapon and is in fact very close to being done(from what the SS's tell us).

And here is the last parts of the mission.

After Tasks & Duties:

- Go to the Palace and get the Mythic Weapon* (Aftermath Locked)

- Go to the Cemetery and offer up 3 items (which we have no idea what they are)(believed to be the pop items for tinnin, sarameya, and tyger)

- You are instructed to go to Nyzul Isle by some Ghost

- Enter in Nyzul Isle and Face off against Balrahn Eidolon (He uses the Mythic Weapon that matches your job and has access to aftermath but needs to be confirmed)

- After defeating him go back to Caedarva Mire Cemetery and offer up the Mythic Weapon and it will be fully unlocked.

So after all that we may see the first mythic weapon!

Other then the Alexandrites i dont see where making the weapon is that hard, most of what the quest involves is killing event mobs or HNMs, meh ... we'll see what happens if the dude has the weapon or not

Getting an original relic weapon isn't hard either. They are merely timesinks. If you look up everything that is required it's easy to see that for most people, they would take a pretty darn long time. I'm skeptical that anyone's actually close to being done. Also I'm going to lol pretty hard if the tier 4 znm trophies are seriously required as part of this process. I can imagine shells selling them for 20-40mil apiece and people gobbling them up.

Considering it's unknown what the latter quests even entail it's a bit premature to call people "75~80%" done with getting their mythic, lol. Yes a few people probably are pretty close, but I still have my doubts we'll be seeing a mythic before 2009 or even the first months of the new year.

i would think the trophies would be a waste and way too useful for shells... you could be right, but i just see shells using the trophies for PW instead... now the pop items for tier 4 is more reasonable imo*

30k alexandrites = It's impossible for a single (or 2) salvage shell to gather that many in less than one year. You have to buy it or most of it ~ 100 Millions.

150k Nyzul items= plenty of nyzul runs, prolly like 6 month assuming you do it 7/week, don't lose much. This also implies that you don't do salvage and assault. Sice you have to redo assaults, it'll take 1 year.

redo all assault (assuming you are already max rank) = 1 year since you Nyzul too.

Einherjar = 6 month 3x a week. It's the easiest.

Titles = chariot titles are easy to get. HnM one's require full alliance and noone kill them because their drop suck. But it doesn't take time.

So you basically need 1 year of doing a lot of event as well as 100M. Possibly, you need ZNM Tier4 rare drops too which adds a lot of time considering people take months to get them, let alone gives them to you for free.

I'd say that's like 2-3x harder than getting a relic.

You guys forget some people all ready had 100k+ tokens stocked up because back then not everyone hosted a disk. If you have confident members can do nyzul in 1-2 months and all 50 assaults again in another 1-2 and while doing those 50 assaults you still make AP.

I don't know if the woman still does it but after you traded the 150k nyzul token item and got the wyrmkeeper areuhat it made it to where you could get unlimited salvage passes as long as you had AP.

We're averaging 50 alexandrites per run. That's ok money that pay for food and meds (they sell [email protected] each), but drop not enough for weapons upgrade so those weapons are gonna be costy.

Most of that could've been built up before the quests were released. And if you've already got the nyzul tokens, you won't be doing nyzul while building your log books.
If you rely solely on your salvage static/shell to provide you with alexandrites, yeah it'll take a long time. But so would relying only on your dynamis static/shell for dynamis currency.

LOL but on topic, yeah that fits better JP, altho i say its fuckin awesome that a PUP gets it first, maybe soon PUPs will get the respect they deserve. :biggrin:

Possibly, you need ZNM Tier4 rare drops too...

Seems pretty much set in stone that the PW pops are required, especially after this:

The final tier monster is a exceptional compared to the others, and we wanted to set it apart. If you can get there easily, the value of it fades. (laughs) Also, the items are tied to the acquisition of Mythic Weapons. If there were tons of these to go around, it wouldn’t be much of a hurdle anymore, hence the low drop rate.
