QCDN aaaaaaand.... People spewing crap! lol

Wrong answer. :/

If it makes you feel better Rappa I know who Buff Bagwell is. He was a tag partner with Scott Steiner for the longest time after Scott's brother Rick stopped wrestling. His finishing move was the Blockbuster (A neck-breaker off the top rope with a flip).

As for on topic: It's the internet. There is positively nothing you nor I can do about how people act. Even in real life people have little dignity, but that is just my perspective.

As for the person that said people who think they're dick and assholes well they're the same thing. The words are just different. I get called a dick and an asshole on a daily basis because I say what is on my mind. Do I really care? Not in the slightest because I man up to what I say. You can call me a dick, asshole, or even an opportunist to put someone down. I just say I am telling the truth and how I see things happening.

Sometimes I am a dick and an asshole on here and just contribute to the derailing I will own up to that. There have been threads though where I have legitimately, like I am here, and I think people tend to over see that with some of the other people that derail because they do derail things from the topic either if they don't agree with the OP, do it because it is a lame thread, or just derail for the hell of it. They too will sometimes contribute something significant once in a blue moon.

This is just my two cents though. I am just waiting for the derailment of this thread because it was made by you Ruffy. I have no problems with you so I wont go ZMG! Ban Ruffy or anything. I wont even tell you to get the fuck off the forums you have your opinion and stated it clearly.

Xean/kotsu/uzor/ruffy: Some people manage to be the same ammount of asshole on the internet as in real life. Assholes are everywhere, surely you know this. Some people see the internet as a magnifying glass for the insecurities. Some find their securities over exemplified in the internet persona. People who think of themselves as two people; an internet person and themselves personally are just over thinking it. You are who you are. Chances are if you're prone to outbursts and flipping out on people on the internet you have your moments irl too. Anything else leads to some serious repression issues and usually lead to that one tard on a forum who posts about how 'dangerous' he is and starts spouting the dumbest shit possible which results in a banning almost every time. I'd name names but ... meh, no need. Those of you who've been here long enough can form your own lists.

Not too many people reach outside of themselves to make an effort at negative conduct based on the medium they use. I think most of you, while on the right wavelength and quite possibly correct on some cases, are generalizing a bit too much.

Just my opinion tho.

Now for the flame:

I really like the mature comments that Im getting, whether for or against, or just telling me to get over it! Well.. Most of them anyway. The two liners and such arent much use... But everyone that actually put a good deal of thought into the posts!!

That was part of my point. You'll see that I mentioned that if they enjoy who they are in real-life (as in, they are secure about themselves), they won't change much and will stay the same.

Uzor, seriously, I need to say this to you. Read and comprehend before posting. I've noticed plenty of times that you like to post your opinion, but it's always on a tangent. You haven't realized this, but you really are agreeing with what Kotsu said, despite you having said you disagree.

Nowhere did Kotsu said people become the opposites on the internet. Actually, he said people like to become "more than what they are". Your magnifying glass metaphor is describing that very statement.

"The only people that becomes online e-thugs are those that want to be real-life e-thugs." What the heck does this mean? There's actually some information missing that comes after the last word. It is often the case that when someone seriously behaves a certain way when the anonymity factor is involved (in this case, the Internet), that is because that someone wants to be like that but feels unable to when in their normal living context. For example, seeing a chubby, white 12 year old rapping on the internet, with ghetto language content, is one of the funniest and saddest things to see. And it is real. Toss one of these internet kids in a real 'hood, see what happens. If they even go to one. What Kotsu said is right, to a majority extent.

Now when I said "serious", that meant behaving in that manner intentionally but not for the purpose of roleplaying, but to act out one's fantasy in a safe environment (lol the Internet). To differentiate, roleplaying and/or personality-toggling (adapting to different situations) is done consciously, the person being fully aware of it while it happens.

And just to reiterate, these kinds of things do not apply to all. And there was nothing about becoming the opposite on the Internet. It's about acting out a desired fantasy, and those aren't always opposite--in socially accepted definitions--to how the person already is.

If you would have done what you accused me of not doing, you'd see that I say that: "Most of the time, people believe that everyone change over the internet, and become complete opposites.". In no way is this refering to Kotsu. Unless Kotsu is suddenly refered to as "Most people". The part that was in response to Kotsu were "I have to dissagree with that. If they're not a "tough guy" in real life, they won't automatically try and make up for it online. I'm sure there are some people like that."

I undersand if you don't like me. Hell, a lot of people don't like me. But don't jump the gun and assume I'm trying to start shit. Next time you try and respond to me, either read my whole post and try to actually think through what I say, and think through what you post. Don't let your clouded judgement make the calls for you. Seriously.

I'm sorry if you didn't undersrand my post. Next time I'll try to make it more understandable, just for you. Deal?

I know that is what you responded to him with. >_> But, in actuality, you agreed, not disagreed. And part of what you said, had no bearing with what Kotsu said. Specifically, he talked about people acting bigger than who they are, and you talked about people becoming opposites. His talks about one transitive direction, yours goes the opposite. It's different.

Quoted myself for you there, buddy. We are on agreement here. :D I can see where it sounded like I would be generalizing a bit, but that part was a specific response to Uzor's comment about people acting like gangstas on the internet.

Ruffy did you post this because of the other thread where you insinuated someone was hacking, people made you look dumb, and you seemed to get your panties in a bunch? Because it sure looks like it. If I'm wrong, then my apologies. If I'm right, then it's picture time!

Sorry but this pic wins.. I LOL in real life

So did you just type "buff" in google image or did you specifically search for a Buff Bagwell pic? My opinion on this topic is heavily weighted by this question.
Who says he searched the internet for it at all as opposed to having it saved on his hard drive?

It takes a real man to say, "Hey, I have Buff Bagwell pictures on my hard drive. Wanna fight about it?"

No one wants to mess with someone close to Buff.

=( She stole that one from me! That bish ; ;

Naw, I stole it from one of BG's random image threads. Now that derail picture you posted before I totally stole. Gogo train wrecks.
