Adblock will one day be the nail in the coffin of community sites. The larger sites get, the more difficult it is to sustain them purely based on donations. Apps like Adblock and NIS essentially deprive the site operators of needed revenue.

I am not specifically talking QCDN, but in some ways I do I suppose. A site like QCDN really needs like one paid staff person, who makes like $10/hour or something like that doing the things that need to be done for like 10 hours a week. Currently, even with the new subscriptions, it's a pipedream for me to be able to pay someone $400/month to do some of the technical stuff. I am not complaining, I am just pointing out that everything is peachy when you use Adblock to get rid of the ads on your favorite <insert questionable content here> site, but places like QCDN really do suffer from Adblock, NIS, and alike.

On a different board I am lurking on every now and then there is a lively discussion on determining whether someone has adblock installed and redirecting them to the subscription page, and asking them to subscribe before allowing them access to the content. At the pace things are going such methods are not too far off for widely popular and useful forums (QCDN not included).

Sneaky I think you should stop assuming everyone you disagree w/is like 15 years old. If you don't like me, just stay away from my topics, you should no longer feel the need to peer into my threads as you've stated above. The White flag is up & I for one do not plan on discoloring it. A new road has begun for you & I, lets walk our seperate paths, paths that preferrably don't come to an intersection. Agreed?

As for the age thing...I said 16, not 15, and that's Raider's posted age...So I'm not assuming, shit for brains. Plus, he admitted to missing a detail. Not really it doesn't. Any power you had as a Mod to hold over this community's member's heads has been stripped away. Your just another average Joe now & "Huzzah!" for that! You may have made up your differences with RaiderX, but what both she & I said about you is true.
