qcdn issues with connecting to the site?

So since last night i have tried coming on here and i got the same error message that connection timed out, i checked the other 3 comps in my house and they all got the same error. Does anyone else get this from time to time? where the site won't work XD?



If this is in the wrong place then move it as you see fit mods ^^

This also happens to me occasionally. I just hit the refresh button, and if it doesn't bring up the site the first time I hit it again and everything is usually just fine from then on. No idea why it's happening though.
 
Someone else complained of this issue the other day. I believe it was Zylia... Reeve would need to make sure it isn't the host, but since it is very few complaints - I am more inclined to say an internet line somewhere is fucking you up.
 
um, it doesn't work in school sometimes, and my friends laptop also has some problems connecting to it when i can't...

just letting you guys know though
 
It's been happening, rarely, ever since the move to VB. No easily-detectable pattern. I've been hit with the problem at home and at work - two very different ISPs, two very different paths to the public cloud.

The ol' sit-and-wait trick seems to fix it.
 
I haven't been able to get onto QCDN for the last few hours, every time I'd try to get on I'd get an error. Tried both firefox and IE, but I doubt it's my connection since every other site pulled up just fine.

that's usually what happens to me too, i also try refreshing as stated before but it keeps giving me the error, next time it happens i will try and get a screenshot of it
 
Sometimes I have trouble connecting, but I just re-hit the favorites and it usually loads up for me...;(

ok there it is...this was last night and i tried the following:

Restarting comp
refreshing every five mins
re connecting to network
my bros comp

none of them worked
 
Had the same thing the past 2 hrs, would default me back to roadrunner search for non resolving hosts
 
I brought it up to Reeve, not exactly sure how I can remedy it... ; ;
 
i am just glad it isn't just me it's happening to...but i hope you guys can resolve it
 
When I've had issues the remedy steps seem to be:

1. Refresh browser, if still problems:
2. Re-establish your own IP, if problem still exists:
3. Time :/

6. Reset Router and/or modem.

If that were the case no websites would show up...please don't talk down to me.

Its not a cabling and/or router issue...I have multiple pc's at home...and never get the connection error from work using the same OS. When its down I also can't connect via PS3 Browser.

The problem isn't on my end.

I beg to differ. Telling someone to do this when its an ongoing problem IS talking down to them. Your suggestions are IT101, user error. Assuming this is the case while quoting me is talking down to me. Don't insult our intelligence.
