If green is positive, red is negative, then what is grey? I have a couple grey ones in my thingy.

Grey is someone who's rep is so low they have absolutely no influence on your reputation. So they rate you down, but it does nothing.

I think it has something to do with Post Count, as well.

I dunno, I don't think it necessarily has to be a rate down to grey out. I think Neo or BBT rated me up and it was grey.

I think you need to have like 100 posts, or been active on the forum for a month, and green reputation to be able to give out rate up/downs.

I'm also fairly certain that having reputation low enough to give an "unknown quantity" message will neuter your reputation-giving abilities, at least for rate-downs. I've had green-repped people show up as gray for me, with plenty of posts ... the only thing I could determine that was different for them was that they weren't quite red, but were heading there.
