You mean it doesn't? Man, no wonder I am 0/754357 on that thing. I always though it was weird I had like, level 30 CC'ers, and they would cheer me on when I killed it.
I was like "HAHAIGOTTHECLAIMN00BLETZ!!!11"
Ya anyway...
That.... seriously made me laugh!!!!!!!!!
thank you.
Not meaning to be mean.. but I judge linkshells by the members I meet from them. People searching for new shells, whether they're social, LS, HNM, Dynamis, role-playing, or event LS's.. judge them by the people they meet who equip them. How else are you going to know the shell ?
You're not in it. If you know someone in it, that's one thing.. if you don't? Then that's all you have to go off of.
I don't know the poster nor anyone else involved, but I remember things when people mention them.
"Hey, what have you heard about <blank> LS?" I don't recount specifics, but I'd have to say, I heard a couple of their members aren't all that up to par.. or whatever.
Your actions reflect on your LS, your LS-mates reflect on your LS. While I think it's admirable that you defend your friends/ls-mates, I don't think you have reason to be upset that the original poster chose to name it.
Seemingly both people mentioned were in that LS. That doubly reflects upon that LS. The original poster might not have noticed the LS had they both not been part of it.
If I see someone in my party that I deem very inappropriate or pitiful, I'll address it with that person. If I get more flak for it, then yeah.. I'll check them to see what LS they're in. I note it in my mind.. and after several players, or instances it adds up.. Bear in mind that it works both ways. If I see or meet many great players from the same LS, it builds a great respect from me.
Just as in real life.. your actions always reflects on your family, country, religion, employer, friends, etc...
If they don't know you. that's all they have to go off of. There's no such thing as an individual in today's modern world.
example: how often have you gotten a rude customer service or associate on the phone when calling for help, or information on a product or service... You call expecting service, or whatever.. get someone on the phone that really pisses ya off..
when do you say days later.. yeah that dude <blank> I called the other day was a total prick.. no .. you say.. Dude I called Acme, Inc. and they were rude as HELL....
when you wear your pearl, you represent the entire shell you're affiliated with. I hope I made my point.
btw, other two points I wanted to respond to
I play the game to enjoy it too. When I exp, I want to get the most out of my rl time. Someone that wastes that time can sometimes get under my skin. I understand that dunes/qufim is still learning grounds, but I enjoy doing events with my LS, missions, quests, and LS exp pt's. If I join a non LS exp pt, it's to get exp points to accomplish what I've set as a goal. Someone who wastes my time, is preventing me from reaching that goal. That's it.. plain and simple. remember: you're not the only person in that party.
second thing... If you're going to be on Ninja.. please sub war. and if you're going to go past 12.. please have your scroll. I'm a poor Taru ninja just starting off. I have no intention of taking it past 37 for a sub. I don't particularly enjoy the game. If exp'ing past 12, you're going to be expected to tank. Nin's aren't the greatest dd's in the game. The players in this game have created labels for all the jobs.. and unfortunately Nin is a tank. I wish it weren't.. I have a hard time as a Taru effectively tanking, and I'm still learning at that, as I'm used to being a mage. But I took the time to get the best gear "I" could get, and to attain the scroll, so that I could do the job to the best of "my" ability.. call me a dreamer, but I expect the same of those around me. I'm forgiving, and don't try to be too judgemental, but like I said before, if I'm in a non-ls exp pt.. I'm there to get experience points.. and as much of it as I can.
ok
