Quick question: Fraps

The GM's talk about, "Oh I'm sorry, there is no evidence, but I will investigate, is there anything else I can do for you today?"

My question is, is Fraps screenshots and vids admissable as evidence or is it another third party program that isn't allowed in FFXI, and in that case, isn't it possible that you can't GET evidence, besides screenshots but that means you miss out on the chat log and have to take half a dozen to get any sort of picture.

What exactly do GMs mean by evidence then? Screenshots are the only thing close to proof there is, chat logs can't be taken unless using fraps and they are easy to change too right?

Chat logs are saved in txt files in your Final Fantasy directory. GMs have the ability to review these text files.

Unfortunantly, they only hold so much backtext, that the game eventually starts overwriting the older files. So if you absolutely want to make a GM call with solid evidence against someone, it's best to turn on all chat filters but Tell and wait it out.
