I don't doubt the game handles well, but that video was just ridiculous.Kotaku, King of electronic gaming rumors, throws in their 2 cents and their sheep come running in.
The way i see it, this "Guitar Hero on Tour" for the DS is very innovative, and what it does by far surpasses it's tasteless advertising campaign. (Personally i found it pretty funny)
I think Nintendo was attempting to tap into their 80's advertising success by going back to using such a voice to explain how the game works.
I think they managed to show us what Guitar Hero on Tour can do, and we can probably expect it to play some nice tunes.

Just wait for Rock Hero.I love rock band. screw guitar hero. I CAN SINGZ!
Yelling Rock Out is a pretty huge turn off, because you are supposed to be able to play handheld games anywhere, but its nice they let you just hit a button.
The next artist to get top billing in the Guitar Hero franchise is Metallica, as Wedbush Morgan analyst Edward Woo uncovered the fiscal 2009 release of Guitar Hero: Metallica in a recent filling with the SEC. Said to ship by March 31 of '09—the end of Activision's financial year—it appears that the metal outfit will get Guitar Hero: Aerosmith style treatment with a heavy dose of heavy rock. Metallica's "One" was already featured in Guitar Hero III, with additional tracks already available on Rock Band.
We were expecting to hear that Van Halen was the next group to be so prominently featured, but perhaps Activision CEO Bobby Kotick was just toying with us. Regardless, let's just hope there's more ...And Justice For All packed into this thing than there is Load.
Despite any difficulties Anttaru and I have had, I completely agree with him on this.
If anyone believes that Nintendo, Activision, or even Harmonix take themselves seriously when creating these games (maybe Harmonix does now with Rock Band), I have news to the contrary.
I love the tongue-in-cheek approach, and the only way that they could have made the advertisement any better would be by including the band Limozeen instead of the Scott Weiland lookalike.
And, Kotaku=lulz.
Hardcore only, scrubs won't be able to get past set 1.More fuel for the fire...
