This doesn't make any sense whatsoever. That doesn't show a distaste for the JP playerbase, it shows the person involved believes JP players have a better grasp on the game (which is completely false at this point, since the game has been out nearly 6 years total).


The only German I know ingame is Chiimi and she doesn't even play on this server anymore. So I have no opinion one way or the other on German players.

I think I wasn't clear. I have known english players to brag about obnoxious behavior when checked by players they believed to be Japanese.

And it isn't just the anit-Japanese/anti-NA sentiments, maybe "racism" isn't the right word for it, but the huge amounts of prejudice. If I'm going dancing and agree to meet someone at a club, I'm not going to get there and say "Oh, there aren't enough black people here, these people must not know how to dance, I'm going elsewhere". That's prejudiced, and wrong. If a parent is favoring one child to the detriment of another, or an employer is hiring exclusively out of a preferred ethnic pool - whether or not it's his own - people call foul, because it's prejudiced, and wrong.

Maybe that's how the world works, I'll admit to being from a part of the US that doesn't boast a lot of diversity, so it's not something that I see a lot of.

Language barriers are a bitch brother. Maybe the majority of the JPN players out there that say JP ONRY just plain suck and can't comprehend coordinating a strategy w/o the use of language. Or maybe JPN are just much more vocal about not wanting to party if they can't talk at the same time. Or maybe JPN truly is the most racist country in the world and let everyone know it. Take your pick to decide which one makes you sleep better at night. There is no one reason why you let people pee in your Koolaid. Just make the most out of it.
 
There are a few Germans on quetz. Mushou and Simba are Germans and iirc Othello as well. There is also a small group of Autrians. I doubt that Rassist Germans would play this game lol.
On Asura are many Germans and like Sharpe said most of them are stupid. Not just that they can't speak acceptable English (most of them) besides that 70 % of them are utterly retarded. I have no clue why.

Japanese are really weird people. I had some courses at uni about Japanese society and they are very narrow-minded. They are even racist to Japanese people with Korean origin. Their ideolgy is very deep-rooted and based on their history... Just read books about how Japanese think Japan was created. This is not an excuse for their narrow-minded behaviour.

And I think their antipathy against NA is also based on the history of WW2. Usually when I say that I am German Japanese are very kind to me. Not all, but many.

As for myself I think its very sad that there is so much rascism in this game from any side. For me it does not matter at all what kind of person is sitting at the other end of a character. For me only matters if that person is nice.
I heard myself often swearing about Japanese because they did not invite me but I try most of the time only being angry about that particular person. Not the whole nation.
 
It's all about online behaviour, comunication and respect. JPs don't tolerate choices without reason and surprise announcements (like leaving because mom will turn my game off in the middle of a PT), that's what we excel at.

This i loled... hard. Honestly Chiimi, you couldn't be more incorrect. I think this was an overgeneralization and a poor one. If this were the case, I could say similar things about Germans or about Americans in general...

The fact that since American's had slavery, they are totally inconsiderate of others feelings as a whole. The fact that Germans followed hitler to the death(most of them) they are mindless and complete tools to a single person's ideals. But none of this is really true.

I think the "racism" in this game stems from the fact that probably 7-8/10 NAs that play this game don't stick exp parties out like the JPN do. The fact that they up and leave or Red dot to get out of parties most of the time would piss me off too. They make sure to not waste the times of others, if they know they only have 45 minutes to play the game, they wont waste others times and say {yes, please} to a party and red dot leaving 5 others stranded out in the middle of ulegrand range.

If this happened time and time again to one player from a single type of player, I'd say the same thing... Plus there is a communication barrier some of the time. If you know Japanese at all you would know that the auto translate options that most NA players use make no sense to the JPN.
