I personally don't care about the incident and if memory serves this person has a flame or 2 on the flameboard for the same action but im sure other people will get a laugh like i did. Also, don't bother with the "lol too weak flame" crap.... as i personally don't care and it didn't quite seem like Good Times material...





For having a fair amount of understanding of english that they showed throwing my same insult back at me was kinda weak, fairly expected though.

Why'd she start spam checking you by the way? Because you checked her? The time it happened to me I checked her (with bazzar up no less) and then she swapped gear, she checked back 5 times, I checked back as many or more, and then just went into psycho mode.

They really need to learn filter or get over it.
 
If you actually want to check her for some reason or other (such as actually wanting to see the bazaar), do "/c Raizondetre" rather than targeting her to check from the mini-menu. That way she can't boot you out with equip swaps.

Never had any interactions with her personally, though of course I've heard of her and seen some of the other topics. But my guess is that she's either (note that these options are not mutually exclusive) a. being weird for teh lulz, b. really damn ignorant (protip: there's a filter for check messages), c. really damn stupid (protip: you can turn *on* that filter), or d. really damn crazy.

Jury's out on which is the real explanation, but it's pretty much got to be at least one of those four. Even the ultraconservative JP players who don't like being checked, can turn on the filter so they don't see it, or at least don't flip out like that when they do see it.

You should respect different cultures. Alas, not wanting people to look at you in a fucking video game has absolutely nothing to do with culture.

If you don't want to see the message about being checked, filter it. Don't be a fuckin head case and act like a stupid **** rag because someone wanted to see what gear you had.
 
I don't get filters. Sure, there's some "untouchable" words out there, but let the poster catch the heat for posting it. And it seems backwards to me that fuck isn't cencored while cu nt is.

Thinking about it, if bazaar WAS up and using the /c command to check, you could piss the person off enormously by entering and exiting the bazaar. Then by using /blockaid and maybe blacklist, plus filter, you would've put a massive wall in front of you that can't be broken. Unless she runs out of range ... or zones, whichever comes first.
