While we all acknowledge the necessity of nerfing some spells and abilities for a balanced FFXI, I'm sure thinking of combinations allowed between LV99 jobs and their LV49 support jobs can put at least a little tingle in everyone's undies.
Here are a few of my favorites:
THF99/NIN49: Innin + Sneak Attack + Assassin's Charge + Evisceration; finally getting a decent crit-rate out of Evisceration could push it well above THF's stand-by of Shark Bite/Dancing Edge.
SCH99/RDM49 and RDM99/SCH49: I'm sure everyone has been thinking of Accession + Refresh/Haste. While RDM would only get one charge every two minutes, it would be enough to relieve one aspect of the refresh/haste cycle woes that we all experience.
SAM99/DNC49: SAM soloing brought to a whole new level! Haste Samba, an instant Stun JA with a 20-second recast, and a TP battery, all with that ridiculous survivability that we've come to know and love. Self-soloing a three-part level 3 skillchain couldn't get any easier, outside of Meikyo Shisui.
SAM99/RNG49: While my SAM/RNG rarely sees any use, it's always been a pet build of mine. The addition of Velocity Shot and Shadowbind may not make it any more useful for anything 'worthwhile,' but it'll still be a welcomed bonus when goofing around.
So, Quetzalsormr, what does it for you?
