I was wondering if anyone had found any information on approx how much campaigning or how much allied notes you need to have in order to rank up.

For example, if you accumulate about 5k AN is that usually enough for a rank up? Or if you participate in 5 campaigns (and regardless of how much AN you earn) will you be able to usually rank up?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! Do you happen to recall the link of where you found that information? I looked on Wiki earlier and couldn't find anything @_@

You need a lot more campaigning for the latest ranks, like 10-15k AN.

Seems it's been editted out. However the Star rank was pretty accurate from personal experiences. However, since my last rank up i've got over 50k XP from campaign battles so I can't check again ; ;.

took me like 20 days of randomly doing campaign for 10k+exp to get 3rd star. Honestly as a job that has decent party invites @75 campaign is a waste of time :\

Thanks again for contributing everyone.

If anyone is able to confirm any of the information, please let me know. Going to update the first post as well so that anyone needing this will be able to view it easily.

Ribbon: ?
Star: 10,000 experience points required per rank up
Emblem: ?
Wings: ?
Medal: ?

This is good to know, thank you for posting this Zal, and everyone else for sharing!

I heard from someone, don't know how valid this is, but it makes sense in a way, that you need more AN or XP the longer days you wait to get evaluated than you would if you were to get evaluated sooner.

So for example, say you need 5k exp for the first evaluation and you get evaluated after 5 days, then you're likely to rank up, but if you wait until the very last day to get evaluated, you might need close to 10k exp or something.

From experience, this seems to be true for me at least, as usually I end up waiting until longer to do campaigns to rank up close to my expiry time since I'm normally busy with work and RL stuff, and it seems like I get so much extra AN and exp and still not rank up, so I believe there may be some truth to that, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't think waiting longer increases how much you need.

10k+ AN can be obtained in a matter of hours on a good day. I think the latter ranks require a lot more than that... and as a side note, I'm sitting at 260k AN right now.

In my experience, waiting does increase the necessary amount. I got enough AN to maintain my rank and reset the evaluation period, but decided to wait until closer to the update for new ranks. When I went to reset the evaluation period without having done any more campaigns or ops, they said I now needed more AN to maintain. Did one campaign and it was enough, but it does seem to show that the longer you wait to rank up or end the evaluation, the more AN you need.

You mean you actually got the message that you could maintain the rank when you spoke to the NPC but chose to wait? After that you were told you need more? I guess that's pretty conclusive then, unless something else could have happened (which I really cannot think of).

Probably should try it out someday.

Yea, that's exactly what happened.

Hmm. I didn't do campaign for over a month (because I didn't log in at all) before the patch and I was able to rank up when it came out.

From my experiance:
Ribbon: 5,000 Allied Notes (Must wait 5 days from most recent Evaluation)
Star: 5,000 - 6,000 Allied Notes (Must wait 5 days from most recent Evaluation)

I did not obtain 10,000 Allied Notes to progress from Bronze Star to Sterling Star. I normally do about 5,000 to 7,000 ANotes and then go for my next evaluation. To date I haven't picked the option to wait, when talking to the evaltuaion NPC.
