So I am coming back to the game in like a month and I have a idea of what job i want to be.

I want to be a RDM/WHM. I like main healing and all that. I am curious what the best race is for the job. At the moment i am thinking of going either Taru, Mithra or Hume. I was kind of pushing towards Hume just because they are the most balenced Race incase i wanted to level other job. Any help is welcomed.

Yep, Hume is the most balanced for everything. That's all I can add.

Any of the three you mentioned are fine. Tarutaru would probably work out best.

Be the race you want to be.

As far as RDM goes, it doesn't just come stapled to /WHM. You're going to have to level up DRK, and BLM as well. /NIN is nice for RDM soloing.

Oh trust me i know all that. I just want to be /WHM for healing and support I plan to have BLM NIN DRK and BRD all leveled for RDM.

Edit: That being said, that is the reason why i am pushing for Hume. Versitility.

As I mentioned, all three of those would make fine RDM's.
 
As a Taru RDM, I can tell you I <3 my MP pool. I don't ever have to worry about gearing for +MP and can instead focus on +enfeebling magic skill or +MND, etc. Any race would be fine, really, though. As long as you have an understanding of what modifiers are important and make gear choices appropriately, its whatever. Its just nice to not have an obstacle like lower MP pool to overcome IMO.
 
almost nothing irritates me more than a RDM that decides not to main heal while fighting colibri.

You can somewhat easily get an HP/MP pool of 1000/1000 or 1100/1100 as Elvaan.
 
Galka, obviously.

You know, speaking of Galka, I've noticed a severe lack of Galka Blue Mages on our server. This should be remedied.
 
It is down to Taru and Hume.

Name it either Kyte or Tauler i think.

Ultimately, racial stat differences don't amount to a hill of beans - minor convenience in some respects for some jobs, minor inconvenience in some respects for some jobs. And these differences are ever less extreme as you get higher level.

My advice is: pick a race for what you want to look like. (And don't forget that the price of taru cuteness is that you can't see diddly squat for detail on your gear.)
 
Well, if you want the world to know that you fuck animals on your spare time you can be an Elvaan.
