Sculli I believe she ment being patient untill you find the right one. Not being patient in a relationship that isnt working, thats just dumb and yes, is a wasted amount of time.

You are a great guy...and girls in highschool ARE kinda jerks half the time, so do NOT take it personally. (no offense to any girls in highschool - lol, I was there, and I was a jerk ;) there are exeptions tho, or course)

Stay true to yourself...you'll find someone who deserves you one day.

You NEVER meet them when you expect to... remember that. Met one when I first moved here transfering out of a non-existant Spanish 3 class into Art (yeah... I used to do creative things), and met my current one at a rock concert in Florida! You never know, man.

LOL.... well...to be painfully honest, hes right....for now, that is. The nice boyfriend routine doesnt work until ur like 27 and girls finally want to settle down and find a husband....too bad theyve already whored themselves out one too many times for a lot of us "nice guys" to want to have anything to do with em. But no worries Daroth, trash for trash, this guy will get "played" plenty of times in the future with the kind of chicks he'll be getting.

Nonsense. There are lots of girls who go for guys who are jerks to them, just as there are lots of guys who go for girls who treat them like crap. But at any age, there are people of both genders who treat you with respect regardless of how serious the relationship is--just because you're another human. These may not be the cutest girl/guy in class, they might be that mousy person at the back of the room. If the person you're dating has such issues that they need someone who treats them badly, move on.
A lot of my guy friends (I don't have a lot female friends) through the years have had this same complaint: why do all the girls go for the guys who treat them like jerks? I have two thoughts on this (and this isn't meant to apply to Daroth, or Sue-Lin >=), or anyone else on here, because I don't know the specifics of your situation...): 1- Have you ever even bothered to get to know some of the other, not-quite-knockout girls? A lot of the quieter types (of guys and girls) have in my experience turned out to be nicer people. And 2- What does it say about *you*, Nice Guy, that you keep dating Girl Who Treats You Like Crap And Keeps Ditching You For Jerks? Aren't you doing just the same thing?

I've always advocated Nerd dating. It would very tough on me in high school, since I was labeled a "jock", but wouldn't go after the cheerleaders or anything. I was more interested in the genuinely nice girls that were in the band or academic clubs or whatnot. However, they always thought I was up to something, to play a gag on them, because I was a "jock", and would eventually intentionally hurt me just to get back at all the mean shit the "jock" crowd had done to them in the past.

However, some people are so happy to have someone interested in them that share similar hobbies, tastes in foods, music, or even similar life patterns, that that person just might turn out to be one that will make you MUCH happier than the "hot chick that likes bad boys" will ever make you. Remember, physical stuff can only last for so long and will eventually fade away... the mental and spritual connections, however, can last as long as your mind does. And there's something to be said for something like that.
 
I was the same way in highschool...I was considered "popular" (bleck) and was "Class Flirt" and all, but I still dated the nice guys who made me laugh. :) Even when my snotty friends would be all "WHAT are you doing with HIM?!" and crap. Not that I wasn't evil in other ways...highschool is rough becuase no one really knows who they are yet. ANYWAY - there are always exceptions....not everyone goes for the bad boy, or the boy next door. :)
 
I had a bicycle once, it was red, shiny, and i could ride that piece of equipment like a demon......, but alas, my sweet, sweet darling was taken from me on the eve of October 21st 2000 approx 7:30 Pm.

Back in those days, i was the king of school with that bike, everybody wanted to be me...... but now, /cry
