Recording Xbox

what i did for audio was get a little converter that costed like 2 bucks at radio shack that converted the tv audio cables into a headphone jack and plugged it into the microphone jack on the PC, you would need an audio out jack or one that is set for surround sound, but adjust the tv settings so it isnt sending surround to the PC.
And when i meant video out, S-video is technically a video out source lol. Depends on your set up on what you wanna use. I have used way too many set ups to record to PC, im telling you ive had some crazy rigs just to get video and audio going at once, i had split wires everywhere running to my surround sound and multiple cards wired together just to get a no-lag picture on my screen that i could play and record with at the same time.
These were all temporary as i would end up getting a better tv for a short time then rig up a new way when i didnt have the tv's anymore, Im currenty in that situation as of 50 mintues ago and will just be settling for a VGA cable this time around XD
