A friend sent me this; I think it's taking the whole "going green" thing a little too far. Perhaps not everything should be recycled. Either way, creepy ass teddy bear, I certainly wouldn't want one for my nephews to play with.

Alex Green's "Twin Teddy Kit" enables preparation of the placenta so it may be transformed into a teddy bear. The placenta must be cut in half and rubbed with sea salt to cure it. After it is dried out, it is treated with an emulsifying mixture of tannin and egg yolk to make it soft and pliable. Then, you craft it into a teddy bear.

Damned hippies and their placenta bears.

What's next, umbilical cord straws?

Definitely rates pretty damn high on the creepy scale.

Even better was the woman who ate her own placenta, and the comments that people posted. Awesome.

I sometimes question humanity...now is one of those times

It's slightly better than eating it, which is becoming more and more popular in the West.

what. the. fuck.

That... is just nasty on so very many levels.

I mean really.

REALLY.

Is that necessary? Is that even sanitary? What's next? What other thing do you plan to remove from your body and turn into creepy faceless toys that will hopefully never be touched by any human being?

When I die, I want my family to stuff me so I can be a recycled person teddy bear!

Yeah, sure, your cringing now, but in 50 years I'll be considered a trend setter, so fuck you.

That's the one that gets me.

I wonder if people know that there were, contrary to popular belief, actually parts of a bison that the American Indians didn't use.

omg. I want to barf. That doesn't even look nice. It just looks fucking creepy.

OMGWTF seriously?! *shudders* I think I need to go puke my dinner out now o_O

Animals eat the placenta and birth sac of their offspring. People do not go ewwww at that. It is rich in iron, which FYI you get low on after birthing. No I would not eat a placenta, but the point is it is done in nature.

So is cannibalism. Either way, animals don't have arts and crafts time with it.

Guinea pigs commonly eat their own feces as well. Won't catch me with a dinner plate in the toilet though.

Why was this necessary?
