Multi-Plat Red Dead Redemption

Getting a ps3 since my laptop isn't gonna be able to handle FFXIV, this is gonna be the first game i get for it while I'm waiting for XIV.

This is quite possibly one of THE best games I've ever played, and I'm very pleased at how Rockstar took the GTAIV engine and completely used it, in my opinion, much more effectively than in GTAIV itself.

This game was so good, my sister wanted to play, and she usually hates video games.

Not revolutionary but quite enjoyable. It is the first Rockstar game that I've beaten. Most GTA games I start with the story but quickly devolve into just killing as many folks in as many ways as possible. The western theme, along with the kind of reformed badass with morals character, went a long way to hooking me in a way that GTA's just couldn't. My buddy recommends I try out Bully which I've only head good things about. I love how they end the game. That was a masterful stroke and thoroughly engaging right up to the credits, imo. Some of the events leading up to the ending are kind of telegraphed but the overall ending was still fantastic.

I enjoy this because its similar to GTA but isn't the same exact game as every GTA after 3 has been.

My brother randomly bought this today. I'll be playing it soon then lol.
