May I innocently suggest that we wipe the shit-stain that is Jyakotsu from the buttocks of QCDN? Now, hear me out. He's got to be in violation of some code or something, surely? And if not, why not? He posts bullshit in General Discussion. He posts bullshit in End-game Discussion. He picks fights with just about anyone, over just about anything, in just about any thread he can find.

Now, I know what you're probably going to suggest. And as appealing as the "Ignore function" sounds, it doesn't quite cut it. Sure, i can blank out his posts so i don't have to read them, but he'll still pick fights and still insult me, and others. Hiding my head in the sand doesn't mean it won't continue. And not being able to see it doesn't mean i'm unaware of it's presence.

He's been flamed multiple times. And mostly not even for something minor that happened in-game, either. They're aimed at him; his personality and his attitude here. He derails his own flames, requests them locked and fights back with baseless bullshit and childish inuendos. Yeah, i'd love to take it to the flameboard again- but it solves nothing. The same shit will happen, he'll wriggle out thinking he's won, and nothing will change. So i'm taking it here because I think it's worth a shot at it.

In fact, let's put it to a poll or something. How about that? If the votes are substantially in favour of Jyak's removal, then let it be so?

Cause its far easier to hand out violations for flame baiting then to rid the problem. why you think pchan is still around collecting his nice looking red dots?

Who knows how many times the subject of banning the problem has been brought up(on just jyak alone im positive theres a few threads). some excuse or another was used and the thread just died away.

Until he actually does something to break rules than nothing will happen to him. Same thing with Pchan, since he was brought up here.

Pretty good excuse, eh?

Thats what I was thinking, I haven't seen them break any rules to deserved to be banned. No matter how annoying they are to people.

Can't we just be a little adventurous and ban him for our own reasons? We shouldn't need to catch him on a technicality. This isn't an office, or a business or company. It's a community, with rules in place to guide the regularity and conduct. Why can't the rules be bent a little, to benefit the community as a whole?

Doesn't really sound so much like a benefit for the community as it is a benefit for you, since he seems to pick on you more so then most lately. Ignore feature would be the best course of action, since he isn't breaking any rules to merit a ban.

Some people get really annoying but you can't just start banning them because they are disliked. Yeah it's irritating when someone comes in and starts their usual crap and things get derailed, but the people who respond to that stuff are just as responsible as the main offenders themselves. And unfortunately, people will always respond, because around here, many can't help themselves.

You don't have to like it, but if you can't stand him, ignore him; it's what that function was made for. You just can't hop onto the slippery slope of "ban that guy because he pisses me off." This place would get really empty really fast.

If we can bend some of those rules, why not bend them all? I'll go flamebait everyone now and have no infractions^^. (Trying not to be a complete ass.)

That.

There is no catching him on a technicality. He hasn't done anything wrong. Him being removed for being annoying is far less for the community as it is for the individual. It'd be like me saying i'm going to ban the next person that makes a thread asking for another user to be banned.

As i said, this isn't just personal. If i put it to a poll, i can bet that 90% of QCDN would want him out. Isn't that enough reason? Massive majority vote?

I'm not suggesting quite that. I'm suggesting it be put to a vote, and if significant enough, why not put it into action? His personal insults via rep. downs to Zerayla should be bad enough...

Doesn't work on the flameboard, so i'm suggesting it in feedback. I have a problem with you, and i have a suggestion. Suggestions go here.

Suggestions may go here, but a little report feature works better when people like you flamebait outside the flameboard... Have a nice day.

No, and yes it does sound very personal, especially with the way you approached it. If you think he's flamebaiting that much report his posts. "Voting" to ban someone is a ridiculous idea.

Like I said, I don't see it so much as something the community would benefit from it as much as you would. If ya can't deal with someone you can ignore them. That's the entire reason we have that function on QCDN.

There you go again trying to wriggle out of it.

Put him on ignore and be done with him.

Are we just going in circles here...? The ignore feature doesn't cut it. The problem is personal, but not only. Enough people here have a personal problem with him.

WRIGGLE OUT OF WHAT? You are obviously trying to start something Diabllos. If you think I flamebait that much that warrants a ban, show the mods! Please I am asking you to.

The difference being, he can say what he wants about me without getting a reply? Everyone's still going to see it.

Wriggle out of your own demise. Just like the flames. Just like the arguments.
