I have a friend who all but explodes with glee when they come to the door so he can talk them out of their faith.

Oh yes, watching sports and listening to rock is a sin. Those so called "christians" are lost themselves. But the book of revelation says that when the repture occurs, churches and preachers will also be left behind. Shoot Satan knows the bible inside and out, look where he's going. I'm a christian myself and even I think that is a little overboard. You come to people in love, not "burn burn burn if you don't stop."

The rapture is based on pessimistic irish church worker who claimed to have had a vision while with the plymouth brethren. His name was John Darby. It was added to the new testament to keep up tithes, don't know exactly how much stock i'd put in it personally.
