Thinking back to my first sky shell, I was such a noob. Not even 75 yet and I have to say ty to ekin for getting me and Souj in that shell.
1k swords was the best way to be introduced to end game. Ienjoyed it all and it was run so well. I think Atiba and Ols showed us they were ready to lead when our leader fell on hard times. We had such a good run and we grew to become a family of gamers.

I regret non of it. Affinity was our joy ride. Short but oh so sweet. We all benefited. I honestly think if Atiba had not not left the game we would still be going strong. TY to all of you in the shells and good luck to the new shells. Just wanted to thank the old school players for the fun times and late nights. Maybe we should all get together for a few and do something... There is still a sea monster we have not dominated.

ps I have to laugh when I think of our Rangers and how they kicked ass on Kirin back in the day ^^

lol My first shell was with Zyndara, Roadkill, Xalo, Freez, Elliott, Anakareen, Skiewalker, Pinkubara and others in Serendipity. lol I remember I pissed off Zyn one day cuz I said people have to have no lives to get multiple jobs to 75. Now I'm almost one of those people >.>;;
 
I'm also in debt to Atiba and all the old affinity ls members as they were the stepping stone for me getting into end game. I have since gone on to bigger and better things with Perseverance but Affinity was certainly what got me on the way.

I always respected you (sumer) and soujiro, and am glad we got to have such great times together (and speak on ventrilo). We were a very solid group in affinity as far as sky ls's go back in the day, and yea the so called "ranger" party was always a fun thing to watch when we did Kirin's^^

I'd be glad to get together and do something with the old crew as I havnt seen/spoke to many of you in so long. Hit me up in game in a week or more when i'm back from my vacation in Tokyo as I wont be in game until then :)

You're still online about 2 days a week, so that is evidence enough that you do in fact have a healthy life outside of FFXI :p

I miss the older days of my first shells, Reverence (which was not really in its older days by the time I'd started) and FallenSouls. I seriously miss hanging out with Davion and Nyxie as a level 20 whatever-job-I-was-leveling and them on level 75's, and they were protecting me as I explored Qufim Island, thinking that it was such a cool place ^^;
 
This got me thinking as well. My first shell was called Shades of the Lost. Tons of good people in it (Ecks, Palidine, Aerandir, Exodusamphi, Chpal, Likkwid, etc). I wish I had the screenies off my old computer. Reliving all my noobish days is fun stuff. Good thread.
 
Heh, been a long time. Lesse Tim, I think ShadesOfTheLost was my second shell since Shades was actually a linkshell that formed from I believe one called FallenAngels or something similar to that. Which was my first LS when I came to Quetz. Pretty much the people that were in Shades came over from Fallen because the leader of Fallen quit and broke the shell.

Shades really picked up even after the leader went MIA. I had a lot of fun back then.. I wonder if I can dig up any old screenies. I might have a group picture of a garrison we did way back when they first added those. I'll add it to this post if I find it. Good times.

Edit: Couldn't find any of the garrison.. I thought I took some ; ; But I did dig up these old blasts from the past.

Man.. seeing what people think is oldschool makes me feel .... old. I remember the days when NA's practically didnt kill Kirin. I remember the days when NA's practically didnt have 75's. I remember when NA's didnt do northlands. So few of the really old players left.
 
I remember the days when NAs first killed KB.

And there was Adamantoise drama. Adamantoise.

Whatever happened to Ols, he kinda /vanished on everyone.
 
Damn you got me starting to remember back to the old times when I first started playing in '04 my first LS was EternalPain led by Sepheroth. I miss those times, a lot of my really good online friends were from that LS.

I remember when Johnnyb was just leveling DRK, his first job to 75 :p

Ols didnt carry the LS. Atiba was the leading force, but when it was time to farm.. Ols was always there and helped out w/ pretty much everyones AF and WS battles. It doesn't matter to me why he doesn't play now. When our LS needed him he was there. I didn't post this in good times to have it or any of my former ls mates bashed.
 
Haven't dropped by to say hello in awhile and saw Sumer posted ^_^ Good to hear from you again gal and a big hello to everyone else :)

Do you guys remember doing CoP,we always had something go wrong for us on 6-4. People that do CoP now a days have it so easy compared to what we went through.
