It doesn't bother me very much...It'd be cool to change the color of your rep but still show the comment if they're not respected or w/e as well as reduce the size.

I'm afraid of getting more piss spots on my profile D:

i say put a large spectrum to choose from

but if i had to name a few...

teal, black, silver as the third dots

only problem is that it'd look fugly with the green but it's just dots lol

I don't mind the colors. Its just that the dots themselves are ugly. Can't you use the old dots with the new system? Just make one of them yellow for the yellow one.

The difference is that the yellow is supposed to look gold, as in "Here's a gold dot/star for your efforts!" while green > green > blue is more pleasing to the eyes, imo. So its a matter of taste, I suppose. I'm sure most people would prefer a gold star over a blue one. The last one is awesome, though, as you could replace the star with cookies. "Here's a cookie for your efforts!" is so much better then getting a gold star in your book. The cookie just tastes better.

Also took the time to make an, at least in my opinion, more eye-pleasing version of the gold dot, as that one sticks out too much due to being a different "version".

Either way, what is so different about the two examples you've provided? One has a softer outline on the gold "dot" and the other a more defined black outline. So, they're basically the same, right?

I think the natural progression of color should continue. Blue would be behind green on the color scale but going onwards into warmer colors you'd eventually reach red, which is what we use as negative. Recylcling the colors might be a good option, with different types of "dots", possibly utilizing different shapes like the star and maybe, oh you know, actual dots?
 
Here's the "old" dots if you so chose to go back to them, in case you feel too lazy to remake them yourselves, unless you want to or completely thing they suck. It has absolutely nothing to do with being bored at work and desperately trying to find ways to make time pass ~.~

Purple is my favorite color, but next to that color green it would look like total ass. And not in a good way. Ditto the Barbie pink.

Edit: Or do you mean in place of the green and vomit yellow?
