You upgrade the first weapon of each weapon type..

Pistols~ M92FS upgraded unlocks the M93R. A triple shot pistol.

SMG~ Skorpion unlocks the Gatling gun. Only Chris can use.

Shotgun~ Ithica unlocks the Hydra....... Triple barrel shotgun.

Snipers~ S7 unlocks the Bow. Only Sheva can use, no reticle.

Magnum~ M29 unlocks the M500.. Pretty much the gun joker shot batman down with..

Beat the game in under 5 hours and you unlock the unlimited rocket launcher.

Thats all the unlocked weapons.

The Triple-barrel shotgun... Does that mean three barrels at once, or one at a time, making it a rapid fire shotgun?

The Mad Max gun. Three barrels. Cost one bullet per shot. Or none once you get it unlimited ammo.
 
We beat it last night. I spent the whole game looking forward to using the long bow, only to find out you can't until you beat it, even though you can upgrade your shit all the way.

Super lame.

Game was super fun co-op, though. Some of the bosses at the end...

...were more annoying than fun, and I'm not a big fan of cutscene-action sequences that require you to push buttons during scenes instead of just watching them.

Also, I thought it was kinda lame they took Wesker shopping in the Matrix, and also trained everyone how to fight using Morpheus' training dojo. I thought all the slow-motion fighting seemed out of place.

Other than that, I loved it. I'm missing a ton of BSAA badges, so I'm going to work on that next.
 
Go beat the game on Professional, it can be a SERIOUS pain in the ass on some of the boss fights...

I think my professional run was a little over 3 hours. I want to get it trimmed down to around 2 hours... I would like to get into the low hundreds on the leader boards.
 
Ok I finished RE5 on normal mode and all I can say is THANK GOD FOR CO-OP MODE!!!!!!!!!!!

Great game, enjoyed every minute I played, not as good as RE4, but oh well. Makes me wonder how Jun Takeuchi and the rest of the development team will supposedly make RE6 a complete reboot of the series.

I can think of one easy easy way Gerry. They could actually make this a survival horror series again^^ Wouldnt that be nice. It feels like i am playing Charlies Angels with infected people as i play these last 2 RE's.

lol so true but still fun as hell. There is something about survival horrors that I just didnt find in this game. Probably the slow corner turns you do and expecting something leaping out of the dark at any moment etc. If they had made this a proper survival horror the game would have been so much more tense, and co-op so much more hectic XD. Hopefully they will do that with RE6.

I felt the same way, but to be fair Wesker has been like that since Resident Evil: Code Veronica on the Dreamcast, which came out like 3 months after the matrix.
 
So I've been going through the game on Veteran with a friend of mine, and it hasn't been to bad. The only spot that gave us trouble so far was that fucking troll giant in 2-3. My friend sucks at hitting the dodge triggers when they pop up, and we died sixteen times. Fucking brutal.

We're also trying to get all the badges this time through. I can't stand either of the costumes unlocked for beating the game, so I'm hoping the STARS and Safari costumes look better after we break all the badges.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I was hitting it every single time.

If so, I'm gonna let me friend continue to think it was all his fault last night.
 
at least when playing online. I played with someone in the states, and I lagged real bad during that battle to the point that the button I needed to press only appeared for less then half a second, so I didn't even bother attempting to press it, and we still dodged it every time.

Maybe its something they did to prevent a loss due to lag, I dunno. The only time I've done that battle multiplayer I lagged bad, so I just assumed that's the way it was.
 
Has anyone tried the dlc versus mode yet?

well the new "Lost in Nightmares" DLC is out on xbox360, (ps3 in a few hours). Im excited for it and its only $5. How many of you are gonna get it?

I'd love to play through this DLC, but I'm not about to buy this game. GG YouTube!
 
Is this download supposed to be 600~ minutes long or does my internet connection just suck?
