Respect your dynamis leaders

I hate too how people think you have to have an army of BLMs to do dynamis , or things like that. The very minimu you need IMO is 2 PLD 1WHM 2BLM 1 BRD 2 RDM/BLM, a few healers, a TH4 and remainder as DDs. 2 BLM is more than enough to kill stones, 2 rdms more than enough to sleep, and DDs are more efficient at killign shit than BLMs.

This is dependant on which zone, and each shell's personal style. We like to run with a minimum of 4 blms. In xarc, we NEED, not want, NEED a minimum of 6, because we DM the eyes at the towers. Could we get by in cities if we had just 2 blms? sure, but only if they are alive all the time. same goes for the rdms. We also have a rather casual atmosphere, so there are people that leave early or perhaps they need to go afk during the run. if we ran at the minimums you stated, those key jobs would have to be alive 100% of the time and never afk. I don't like putting that amount of pressure on any one person, particularly for 3+ hours straight. so i at least double the minimums you've stated in case something happens.

sac pull the NMs one at a time, saves tons of death

Thats very "cave-man" like for you to even say, especially in a zone such as Xarc... How about a group of solid people who know what the they're doing, listen to directions and get the job done without a death at all? Thats even more efficient and more effective to do then have say someone dedicate themselves to dying 15+ times for one run...

Thats what exp scrolls are for. and we found out that doing it was the fastest ( ~5 minutes per NM). Like I said my LS was to gimp to kite the NMs, we tried it on our 2 first xarc but wasn't great. Lacked kiting jobs, and were only 20 -25 ( with a few afk..). This method is 100% safe: 2-3 death per tower NM instead of more when kiting. And thanks to that we had 1H-1h30 of farming after the the 15 NMs and wall of eyes were cleared. Of course shell with ~40 members must kite!

yeah, it all has to do with what works for each indicidual ls. i'm not one to judge the style of any ls as good or bad. i know what works for us, and we stick with that. sometimes we've had to change a bit depending on who shows at any time. we've also changed routes sometimes when we found a better way.

How wonderful would it be if every shell leader remembered this about every other shell?

Seriously.

i think the biggest issue i have trying to run dynamis is having to organize jobs. This usually leads me to getting people on jobs they don't like as much as thier other ones. I wish that people would just realize that if a leader (for any endgame really) says "i need you on X job" that it's because you're NEEDED on that job. If only people would just say "ok" and change instead of fighting with me about it. Even if i didn't fail horribly at multi-tasking, I don't have time to argue with 30+ people before a dynamis run about job selection X.X It's not like i plot out an elaborate plan before the run involving who hates what job most and forcing them to come on it... orz

Meh totally agree. Sometime i wish that everyone will know that in order for a group to function properly, the individual plays an important role. Well at least look at the bright side, people don't start complaining if they keep wiping due to them not coming their job. Never experience it before but i guess that the worst scenerio. Not coming the job we want them too and blaming the wipe on leaders. I tend to think the more negative/worst scenerio to comfort myself... it is still not that bad <,< lol.
