Brady Games' book also states that by subbing WAR/WHM... You can get the "feel" of PLD, early on. (like practice or something). This isn't word for word but I know it's in there somewhere. This had a bunch of players xping with war/whms (AKA "The poor-mans PLD") LOL.
 
What about them saying NIN/THF or NIN/SAM or saying NINs can't tank? =P
That book is teh crap.
 
Yeah. Because of that guide, I used to see a lot of war/whm's running around with a sword and shield, saying things like, "I'm a future paladin!!!111"

Summary for first point: LOL. RDM soloing only improves as you get higher, and hugely boosts after Refresh and Phalanx!

If you are talking about RDM being subbed for BST here they will never get refresh because its a level 41 spell.
 
:x damn no edit button...anyways RDM as a solo class at higher levels I haven't found it very effective.

Phalanx and Refresh work wonders but I can't take down anything over EP alone.
