Faule! When were you in Japan? I was there during the summer too, and went to almost all the same places you did. I swear I saw that cat in Ueno Park too, did you go to the zoo? It was the most depressing zoo I've ever been to.

Haha I had an image of your brother in my head for some reason, and oddly he looks exactly like I pictured.
 
Naw we walked by the Zoo but decided against going in. There were other stuff we wanted to walk around and do that day.

We were there July 1 - 17th.

Oh man I was there around the same time for about 8 days, I wish I knew you guys were there before! I stayed in the New Izu hotel in Ueno, but we had a lot of free time, it would have been great to hang out during the day. My class that I was with was calling Tokyo "Bizzaro New York" by the end of the trip. XD
 
We stayed at a hostel in near Minowa station. Had to ride the subway 2 stops to hit Ueno EVERY DAY before jumping on the JR. But it was a nice area and a GREAT hostel! We had our own room. It used to be a hotel that was converted to a hostel. Very close (basically walking distance) to Asakusa.

Did you hit up the toy store right by Ueno station? That place was incredible, I bought so many gifts for people there and a nice moogle plushie for myself. XD

Actually, Solan is right. I'm that black smudge on the window. You just won backstage passes to the next Dino and Jam concert.
