It's called integrity. And to most people, that's worth more than $25. You're young, maybe someday you'll get it. Don't know why you bothered to bring it up if all you were going to say was you don't want to waste $25 by throwing the gil away. Regret all you want, but as someone said, the damage has already been done. No one is going to be calling for your head on a pike ffs, but you should have left well enough alone and took your own advice and let it go. All you've accomplished here is magnifying a stupid, cheating action for the whole community to pick apart. I'm sorry but you really just should have kept this bit of info to yourself.

someone buy gil and not spend it.

It's not strange logic at all. I was in a linkshell until such a time I knew it wasn't a good thing. Gil buying is obviously bad from the start. Upon finding I'd made a mistake, I immediately corrected it, again something that isn't being done. It's a completely different circumstance, and should not be treated the same. Your logic is faulty.

It isn't always clear what is legal and illegal to the playerbase. Yeah he did something wrong which sadly he knew was wrong but it is over and done with. Even today they removed more RMT and Gil from the system.


I think being in a linkshell and actually cheating are a bit of a different thing.

No, this is made clear to every single player who joins, and reinforced by the reactions of many players on the server. SE tells you before you even log on to any server. There is no room for a grey area here. Sorry, deal with it.

Edit: P.S. I was in OH before they cheated, when they first formed and little was known about them. They were just assholes then, and I was disgusted. OHWHAT.

Putting your items at a lower price does not kick it up in the queue of stock, you're just cheating yourself out of potential money.
