Because he clearly didn't even engage until the guy was dead and the mob was (apparently) yellow? As I said previously, a steal or a mug to begin with and there would be no problem.

I know BBT isn't the brightest, but this right here is some stupid shit. and really, you can't kill chary with 1 (2?) RDMs and a THF there?

Imo it looked like the RDM was trying to solo it by kiting, then the RDM died and BBT tired to take over or something. I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.
 
Does BBT filter out healing effects?
 
Isn't hate compromised briefly in some way when the party leader dies? Or was that patched? Or did I make that up?

Eiether way, I don't see Accomplice in the screenshots, or steal/mug... So BBT didn't establish much hate anyway. It's interesting that Diaconfrost was hit my maelstrom before the RDM died.
 
Screenshots look like a legit claim in those screenshots. If there were screenshots of Charybdis during the fight, maybe then I'd be able to judge better.
 
Whatever happened, I think whoever stole Chary from you should have waited until you wiped.

This isn't sky / Serk/Sim/Roc/KA/KB from 3 years ago where every (regular) NM / Pop mob had a soap opera to follow along with it.

People should have the decency to see a group try to low man something and just wait till wipe to try and "steal" claim even if a mob unprecedentedly goes yellow.

Who took chary away from you anyway?
 
Looks like your guy needs to put up some bigger numbers, some emnity merits, and I don't know a voke or two... Were you on ninja or thief... I am going to guess thief since there were such low numbers on each swing, and you were /nin for some unknown reason... a thf/war can tank him just fine, put on some Eva skill+ gear and he'll miss like a mofo. And since you have a rdm, if he casts blind, and you get haste you can put up some even bigger numbers and rape him.

He's blind as a bat... my ninja can tank him just fine, and barely eer have to cast utsu, and thf has a higher base evasion so it should be even less he shouldnt get hit more then 4 times if he has an adequate rdm with him. If the rdm isn't very adequate and the thf isnt adequate... then ya thf/nin.... and still he shouldnt have a problem keeping hate.
 
Yeah THF is best tank.

I hate when OP posts something and just abandons everything when people try to ask questions.
