In game progress I am one main dungeon and 1 seemingly optional area ahead of the Rosa part.
Yeah, you can combine weapons other than the ones that he recommends, just the recommneded ones are the only ones listed in the frog log and they will usually be more powerful than a random combination. I've been trying to only stick to the combinations that toady recommends, to also help with the completetion tabulation with Mio. You need 100 analyzed combinations and to actually complete 50 of them to get 100% with Mio.Tyrath said:Until recently I thought only weapons the toad said during Analyze could be fused. But I realized every weapon can be combined with every other weapon as long as its not a story weapon >.>
I think i have 1 of the ultimate weapons for jaster and 2 for kisala and zegram now. Working on the others D:
It's a true action RPG. It's similar to Zelda or Secret of Mana in that you have active control of when and how your character attacks and you gain experience and develop your characters similar to the system in FF12. But yeah, space pirates is what the story is about.Amidamaru said:what is this game about? yall keep talking good things about it and im on a game shortage atm and idk what to buy lol

Earthshaker(desert seeker IV is 374 attack I think), some of the ultimate Seven Star swords are 400 attack, there's one that at max lvl is 500 attack.(not a seven star though if I remember right)
I haven't done much insectron, I've caught a few here and there, lvled some up via battles/foods in the cages, but haven't entered a tournament yet. I'll get around to it eventually though.
There are a bunch of game-long side quests. In every area there are quotas of mobs you can kill to build up your hunter points to try to become the #1 hunter in the galaxy. Insectrons is kind of a pokemon-equse event; capture bugs, make a team(or breed them) and fight them together in a chess-like game in multiple tournaments. There's also a system of marks similar to FFXII's that you can do.Shyrra said:Is there a lot of extras? Aside from just plot?
