What's their story? wasn't Rosehot the gilseller in the mines before?/

Just asking because I'm levelling in Valley of Sorrows.. and they're BOTH powerleveling another party....

Just wanted to know if they were..I thought they were.. I could be mistaken.

...and I'm missing one... it'll come to me... anyway, when they couldn't get parties with other legit players, they staticed with eachother instead.

Grimmben is deffinately not a gil seller. As for the rest never heard of them. Whats a war gonna do? A pt is a pt.
 
Sad thing is..... Our tank is WORSE than the freakin gil sellers...

Guess what? Because our tank (Lucifel) is so bad... our summoner (main healer) just died... so I have so much time to type this since we have down time...

I get an invite from Dreamreaper and we start up a party. Actually...he gets the party all set up. I just sit back and pretend I had something to do with it when I really didn't.

We get a party.. Pld, thf, drg, smn, rdm, blm. Not too bad. We have a distortion s/c. And we leave for Valley of Sorrows...

WELL... let's see... we get into the desert.... and we decide not to get chocos...fine.. whatever. We'll just walk. I can sneak/invis.... yeah.. bad idea. I think eveyrone caught aggro from a cactuar, antican... heck if the manticore wasn't chasing someone else, we'd probablky have that too...

We zone it fine... and we're resting in the Kuftal tunnel... no sooner do we walk ten steps..we see a robber crab...

Oh, Kat, you'll love this line.. "I need sneak" says Lucifel... (our Pld). Whatever... cast sneak.. and five seconds later... he runs runs.. "Oh it's wearing" Where does he plant himself? In a horde of robber crabs... He dies.... then our rdm dies trying to save his ass too... and I escape the smn and myself.

I get back in there and tractor our redmage (Cowbox) down to the waterfall area where I'm hoping they can get a Raise II... I get down there and who do I see... Jaychou.... *sigh*... level 75 whm... They're like ask for a raise... JAYCHOU!!! Isn't he a gilseller too???

I repeat the process twice... because our Summoner died while waiting beside the Paladin.... and Jaychou did raise III one of our guys... *sigh*

Then we continue on... and finally reach the Valley of Sorrows...and we meet the said party above...

Lucifel says.. "Oh, Redmonkey wants me to join their party. They have 2 PL-ers..."

I make a remark about idiots who have to be PL at level 59-60 are freakin noobs.. response "Well, it's good exp" Umm...that's how you DON'T learn how to play your class.... Especially at such high levels.. and ESPECIALLY SINCE THE TWO PL-ERS are the two in the topic line!

On a side note.... our summoner died because of two of those windy attacks by that big bird thing (i'm super technical tonight) because 1) our paladin didn't tank it properly and take it out of the way.. and 2) the other party is camping RIGHT on top of us...

Top it off... Rosehot Raise III our summoner... *sigh*.... getting help from a gilseller... I think I'd rather take a raise 1 than get their help.. That's what I say now.. but what a terrible night!! and it's still going on...
 
Well, I figured some of the party isn't...which makes it even more rude why they aren't moving away from our camp... the party is literally sitting on top of me....
 
Well, I just died... and I took a raise 1 over the raise 3...... funny how I died right after I questioned what I would do..lol. And Elveengirl was all confused why I didn't want it.. plus everyone else in my party except Shagrath... we were bitching about the stupidness happening in the party and camp the whole time..lol...

when I camped in Valley of Sorrows with the gilseller crew showing up after we'd been there a while, they did the same thing to us. What did we do? Make sure our Perytons were right on top of them too :twisted: I think a couple of them died from our mob AoE couple times. Oops.

Beginning.. "Oh, it's fast XP" when he heard there was 2 PL-ers....

After he heard my bitching about gil sellers and him being a sell out.. "Oh, ya, I 'm going to MPK them... "

Who knows... he could be a great pld....just wasn't holding hate that greatly in our party. Maybe he'll have a better day.

Our last massacre... 4/6 people dead. Including himself. He had full mp. What's up with that? *sigh*
 
My friend lvled a few k to get thf 56 with alinabird


I have to mpk him back to 55 its the only way hell learn to to pt with gil sellers...



Now back to trying to steal Marohuang's Hktk drop...

This is Lucifel and I have a few complaints.

1) If you remembered correctly I posted a j/k after I made the remark about the MPK.

2) I was having a bad day but that last fight I really did try to use my MP but the bird wouldn't stop hitting me, he was attacking me too fast for my spells to work, and flash wasn't ready. Not my fault, I DID try to use my MP.

3) Squee, you're lying I didn't ask you to PT, I didn't even talk to anyone but the party, not even in tells or a linkshell.

4) Whats wrong with wanting fast exp. if you remember I told you I had died 10 times in three days, if you were me you would want to make up for the lost exp too.

5) No complaint here, I admit I screwed up in the cave, but I was already in the middle of the the horde of crabs and got confused on where to go for a safe place.

Summoner shouldn't of got hate in the first place, you're a PLD for murphy's sake. To boot you had a THF too? Oy!!!

If you can't get Fast XP at that level you should probably go check out some job related boards and learn how to play. 4k+ an hour isn't a hard thing to get. What do you think this is? The dunes? You need a power level at level 60?!

This wouldn't of happened if you had been prepared to head for the Valley. Bring oils! It's not a mages job to make sure you get from point a to point b anymore, even I carry oils and I have sneak/invis.
 
Lucifel... it was a horrible night for everyone.

Well, I believe you might have made the comment about jk after I said the whole.. "You accept the raise III and then you want to MPK them?" So it seemed like a backpedal, but that's fine with me. Everyone hates gilsellers so whatever..be united in all that crap.

HOWEVER, it seems that some attitudes is... BE UNITED against Gil sellers only when it doesn't benefit me. When I'm exping with a gil seller and getting gil seller PL-ers, why not ride the wave? WHY NOT?? BECAUSE IF YOU DON"T PARTY WITH THEM, they won't be levelling as fast.

Fast EXP? Sure.. fast exp for you AND the gil seller. This is why I was strongly against them.

And I'm not sure if you were joking but when I accused the party of being all gil sellers.. I mean..come on.. Rosehot and Elveengirl PL-ing out of the goodness of their hearts??? I was basically shot down because "Oh, I know this person." "I know that person." You said you knew three people in that party. Well, if you 'knew' three people in that party, I'd figure they'd respect us, IF NOT YOU since they know you, and camp behind us.

Not your fault they're jackasses though. Like I said... probably a bad day. However, wanting to PL at level 59? So sad. And to top that off... TWO PL. Why bother even playing? The game actually gets easier when you get higher, just longer.

Don't worry about it, I was on Serus a 57rng. You would have to look at my sig to know that though so I don't hold that against you. I never said it was a bad thing that you invited me, it was just odd timing with the thread.
 
One last thing

Why do you hate gilsellers so much? If anyone is to blame, it would be those who actually buy the gil, if no one bought the gil there would be no actual gil sellers =P
