Hey All!

Just realized that I haven't bought a new game in awhile, and was wondering if I was missing out on anything good...I love RPG's and adventure games - some of my fav's are (obviously) FFX and FXI, Monkey Island series, Zelda's, Shadow of Destiny, Shenmue 2, Baulders Gate, Gladius, etc. <---these types of games are my fav.

I have all 3 systems, so let me know if there are any games like the ones mentioned above that I should try out. *Any help is much appreciated <3

Spanks, JEN

 You've got quite a few RPG's huh?

*has a quick look at his games*

Ever tried Summoner/Summoner2 or Eternal Ring(First person RPG)?

Xenosaga II ^^ so great!!! but I feel so bad for Albedo T.T he's topless a lot later too :D it's hawt

Can I get the spank BEFORE I answer? :D

hey >.> I don't want a spank <.< /evades

Morrowind is good, huge FPV RPG (u can go 3rd person) But its really realistic, you kill someone ... they're gone for the rest of the game, you can literally do almost anything in that game Archer, Warrior ... etc almost all job clases are available and amonst many combonations In-depth story but requires ALOT of reading to boot, no VA's but it makes up for that with the great story and the detail in the games themselves, you can go crazy and kill everyone and take over the world...or just be a good person and save all the towns from death and being overrun by monsters and cults overall great RPG and long as hell to play i would consider at least checkin it out (considering you can buy the Game of the Year version with all 3 expansions for Xbox for 20$) Good luck Jen and happy gaming

Xenogears (old but awesome), Xenosaga I & II, LotR: Third Age (tis an RPG O.o), the Final Fantasies of coarse, Star Ocean 3 is awesome ^^ Suikoden III and the new one the IV. and there are more.. can't think of em all now ><

Thanks Ronith! I actually own this game (bought it right before FFXI - so I never really got to get into it) I think it may be time to dust it off - sounds EXACTLY like the kinda game I like! :)

Ive recently gotten back into Fable on Xbox. I also just finished Kotor2.

Although I find that all RPG's after playing FFXI for over a year are waaaaaaay too easy :(

You're missing out on Angband. Bigtime.

I fucking love Angband.

I'd have to agree here. If you've never played Summoner, you should give it a go. My girlfriend gave me her copy because she 'didnt like it', and thought I could 'check it out'. About 30 hours later I was still playing the game and she was getting annoyed with me. Visually speaking, its a little on the crappy side. But come on, it came out in 2000. Cant expect miracles there. Story-wise, its a huge, well told story that spans across the whole of a world. Theres a nice set of characters you can use throughout your journey, especially Flece. Not only is she hot, but shes a thief and has this awesome cape. That makes her doubly awesome. You should give that a stab and see if you like it. Its easy to get used to and exciting to play.

After I quit FFXI I finished both of those games and they rocked but they did seem awfully easy after FFXI. I beat both games playing a good charater as well as evil and I can honestly say being bad is much more fun.

I just bought Grandia II(old game) but so far it's pretty good. The battle system is quite good. The story line is a bit lacking but I hear it picks up soon.(I'm not that far into it yet)

I'm sorry Jen, I have no info to help you out.

I just wants the Elvaan woman spanking. :P

if you havent played FF VII, go get it, shut yourself in a basement, and dont come out till your DONE the game. (beat the weapons, all limits, and beat seph at ALL lvl 99. *DAMN he's hard if you do!*

i'm broke and can't get xenosaga II so i decided to break out xenogears. just got to disc 2. i forgot how much i love this game :D

Some games I found very entertaining and enjoyed alot. They are a tad old though:

Morrowind + expantions = It is like playing an MMORPG but in single player.
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 = AD&D game, pretty good storyline aswell.
Planescape Torment = Again AD&D game, very good storyline. Somewhat short...
Neverwinter's Night = Not bad, next generation AD&D game. Somewhat boring in some places but good game never the less.

Ya I know they are all old games but I find old games more enjoyable than some of the new RPGs these days. Oh they are all in PC.

Though they don't get much acclaim, the Legend of Legaia series is pretty good (though I don't know if you could count two games as a series >.>).

They have an interesting battle system to them, and an interesting story. I also find the games quite challenging at times. Only reason I never beat them was trying to find the skills I could use in battle (a lot like Xenogears, you discover your skills in battle through trial and error).
