I Have Better Armor Now. But Now I Need A Breastplate Really Bad. I Need To Get It ASAP. Im Starting To Fall Behind Again. So I'm Going To Level My Red Mage And Sell Stacks Of Fire Crystals. Eco-Warrior Also.
 
You can also farm sheep. Two sheepskins and one wind crystal will make 1 clump of sheep wool. A stack of sheep wool sells for 6.5-8k a stack. Good luck.

One thing I'd advise everyone in the game to do is to start thinking of a long-term money-making strategy early on. You're always going to need gil to upgrade your armor, scrolls, or just for food, and it sucks when you're really on a roll getting XP, and then you suddenly find yourself with terrible armor, or without that life-or-death scroll, or without enough gil for transportation. Find something that you can stand to do--whether it's crafting, or farming, or whatever--, because you're going to be doing a lot of it, and probably for a long time >< .

omg will you just leave me alone keits...god...i have better armor now...and you just wont leave me alone...lwtff do you want me to do.. kiss your ass farm untill i get 500K. get the best armor possible. and like 50 of each good food
 
That will probably last you about 5 levels if you are lucky. I always have fish mithkabobs on sale in Jeuno, don't be afraid to stop by and spend some of that hard earned money on some. A PLD without a fish mithkabob/chiefkabob just isn't a PLD in my book. :P
