Since they spent 0 time leveling a craft or finding other ways to make gil, when they start seeing the multi-100k items, they are really hurting. I though seing th2 380K in staves that I needed as shock, but I went to work to save early. For those that don't, it will seem immpossible to them when their highest skill is lvl2 fishing and lvl3 smithing. So like the above poster said, get into gil making mode early, and your money troubles will be less at a higher level.

Id rather spend an hour making 5k xp than two hours making 6k. The two hour group made more, but at the cost of another hour wasted in the xp gride.
You would rather spend all day, every day, leveling, so you can brag about getting 1-40 in ten days.

That quest isn't a good way to make money. The way people make money off moat carps is by selling them to all the other crazy people (*looks around*) who _are_ doing the quest.
On a related note, insect paste is an ok way to make money (though in very small increments...last I remember a stack of insect paste was going for 400g)--cost to make is tiny, and lots of people use them for moat carps (cause hey, even bots need bait--if they're fishing for fish, that is).

lol...Keits, you're so bad. You know Kert can't stop replying to your posts!! And Kert, you've got to learn to cool down. Go read some of the threads Keits writes in. Keits will drill into you if you've irked him once. You should just grow a tougher skin.
The only way you're going to change his opinion (if that's possible) is to be a better player and show it. Don't just talk, show it. And besides, this is why he brought you to the boards, to flame. Don't worry, in a couple of days, there'll be another person who'll be the target of the boards. That's why this is a flameboard... Look at it this way.....you've become famous in less than six hours (maybe not for a great reason though, but that's your silver lining).
