If i open a chest and its not my turn, will it give me a magical piece? Is it possible to save that piece til it is my turn or is it not worth anything if I open a chest and its not my turn?

It wont give you the magical piece until its your race and genders turn. If you do it out of turn, you will get a random chest item.

Most likely reward if you open it at the wrong time is about 2K ish gil. You can also get colored stones or the tier 1 gemstones (also worth about 1-3K gil) or some POS equipment that almost noone uses, heh.

You can get a Gigant Axe in a chest in Crawler's Nest, the last time I got one they were going for like 25k, at the time I was thrilled.

Crawler's Nests lowest level monsters are Ordelles, Gusgen, and Maze's highest. Big difference
