Salvage.

Uzor, I think you were a bit too quick in your reply. I never said that they did not deserve what they accomplished. I said they should expect to catch some heat (i.e. verbal lashing) when the cheaters are being flamed if they were involved and talking about it in public. I also said that I personally don't care about the accomplishments of someone who cheated. I didn't say their team didn't deserve to win. I just couldn't care less that they did. Should they be prevented from talking about the good time they had and sharing their joy? Of course not. But don't expect everyone to be happy for them.

I mean honestly, Uzor, and you've always been cool with me because you helped me out a long time ago and I know you helped a lot of people, do you really want to hear a PT gloating about how they got a Kclub when you know that they went with someone who is or was a botter? Forget that this person didn't cheat...this time. Can you ever really be happy for them? Maybe you can. Maybe you see those actions as not that bad and easily forgiveable. But in defense of the many people who have camped for hours and those who will never camp again (changing the way they play the game) because of this issue I have no love for cheaters and really don't give a damn about what they can do in this game. Am I blameworthy for that?

And I didn't mention any shells. Why are you?
You're speaking about different things though. Salvage is salvage, HNM's is HNM's. They're extremely different.

As for your question wheither I would be happy or not, I don't know. But I wouldn't jump in their thread and ruin it because that one person happened to be in their alliance.

I don't know, maybe I'm just more mature then some people we know.

As for salvage, let's see...

1) there's no use botting. Why would you have to bot? That'd be like botting in Dynamis or Limbus. There's no reason to do it.
2) there's no use speed hacking. Everything have lower movement speed then you. When you can easily outrun something, kiting goes really easy. There's no benefit from speed hacking in Salvage due to the ability to outrun them by simply walking.
3) teleport hacking. Why would you do this? You chose a path, and there's no (most likely) mobs on the path you don't chose. Additionally, why would you teleport somewhere and skip all of the mobs, thus gimping your party, due to the lack of drops?

The only hack that would be remotely beneficial is if you could find a hack that lets you ignore the gimpness of Salvage, like a hack that lets you equip weapons even though you haven't unlocked it yet. But even that would be rather useless considering how fast and easy it is to unlock weapons.

So do tell me how we possibly benefitted even IF someone would have hacked, which they didn't?

Uzor, you have been a good friend to me and I have always respected you. But you really do give these people too much credit for thinking. They honestly don't care about truth, or the specifics.
Theyd rather just point fingers at whoever they can to make themselves feel better about being gimps.

To skip aggroing Archaic Gears and having them teleport out, thus preventing buffing the boss?

There's no proof that even aggroing the archaic gear strenghtens the boss. For all we know, aggroing them does nothing, and killing them weakens him. There's severa ldifferent theories about the Archaic Gear, and none have been proven. Hell, the people that have killed the boss didn't bother killing the archaic gear. All they did was run through them, thus aggroing all of them and making all of them teleport away.

Well, theres also the fact that the floor they're on is largely useless unless you want to farm the cards(That aren't useful as-of-yet.) So you could teleport right to the portal to save time to kill the boss with.

Well hey Skaw why don't you try that and tell us how it works out for you?

Yeah, I suppose you could. And save 3 min in the process =/ But it's not really that usefull. Now you're just grasping at straws in order to prove me wrong and for you to have a reason to think we botted or hacked.

Because, you know, it's almost impossible that we got to the boss when your group didn't, right? Twice, at that. It can't possibly be that we had a workign strategy, right?

Hell, with the strategy we had last time, we were all pretty much fully unlocked when we got to the boss with 10 min to spare. I'm sure if we sped things up (was rather slow due to everyone not knowing the strategy and peopel not passing etc.) we could get to the boss fully unlocked with 30 min to spare. Yeah. when killing the boss takes roughly 15-20 min to do, I'm sure we need those extra 3 min so we all have 13 min to lot and pass the things the boss drop, amirite?

Maybe we can continue with the strategy we thought up Uzor, while Skaw Deliberates over the potential Uses of hacks some more. Amirite?

We only need another strategy for the boss though >.< stupid Homing Missiles suck =/ I wrote a new strategy for it that we can try next time on the forums. Well, not so much a strategy as an addition to the previous strategy.

Yeah, Ive thought up a straight tank strategy like you and me originally proposed, and also a kiting strategy. We'll see which one works better.

Yeah, I originally thought of a kiting strategy, but then I remember that might not work as planned as it'd take longer to kill, thus needing more time/less farm time, thus resulting in more people being unlocked. So I think a straight tanking strategy would work best.

Sorry, never touched a hack, cheater.

Uh, I've been to the boss? With 11 people, actually. Wait, no.. TEN. Because Minas accidentally used Fireflies pretty much as soon as we entered.

Sounds like someone's getting a little touchy there. Just pointing out that you're the one considering the potential uses of hacks in Salvage, not me.

Actually, disproving Uzor saying that hacking is "pointless." When infact, it wouldn't be. That kind of proclomation is pretty short-sighted.

Actually Uzor was responding to ZealotX at first, and "you" are the one who furthered the conversation with more "insight" as to what the hacks could be used for. He wasn't saying it was pointless, he was saying it was very limited, you however seem to disagree. Amirite?

I didn't say he said it to me. Getting a little infuriated? Maybe you shouldn't have touched a hack in the first place, Junior. Placing suspicion on others so it goes away from you is pretty shady.

Seeing the applications of a hack isn't cheating. But believing there are none is just being pretty fucking stupid.

LOL @ junior. And now you're saying I don't believe hacks exist? Pray tell me then Tiger, how I am a "hacker" if I have no hacks to hack with. Think it through.

I was talking about Uzor? It's no wonder you hacked, being unable to process that. I also didn't say, "Believe hacks don't exist." I was talking about applications in Salvage.

LOL @ Moron.

Reading comprehension is pretty cool to have.

Is refering to the application of hacks. We all know hacks exist, you should too right?
