Another way we can take East Ron back. People will need to participate in Campaign Ops: Go to "Intel Gathering: Slaughterhouse III: When you get the mission. Go out to East Ronfaure and head to the Enemy Stronghold and find the ??? on the side click it and you will drop a bomb. After 45 sec or so it will blow up. After it does click the ??? again and you will be rewarded exp... I got 341xp. Since and repeat until you run out of Campaign Points. 1 Person makes a difference If we get just 50 people doing this constantly we will take out this outpost in no time. I did this mission on a 55 THF Taru... I should also mention there does not have to be a Campaign battle occurring to do this - also as long as you don't have a Tag you will not Aggro mobs that are patrolling, I guess they don't care lol. Its super easy especially for you low level folks who are just doing anything for exp - this is a simple way to do it without whiffing in Campaign for 20 - 30 min. Spread the word lets get this back in control!

NOTE- They loose 1 fortification per trip/ per person. But the supply quickly replenishes it every time, which is why we need to cut them off.

On the flip side, we also need to cut off their supply route. Orcish Guard x2 and Orcish Transporter less they deliver the faster it will fall.

Those transporter orcs will just keep coming back, and I doubt anybody would be willing to intercept them 24/7.

SE mentioned some improvements to campaign coming, so just wait until then.

Also, Campaign Battle in Ronfaure is completely out of the question since they broke Poisonhand...quite badly. Prior to the "balancing" update, he only hit for 20s but extremely fast. It was very, very close to perma-HundredFists speed.

Post update? Same speed, but they made him hit for 200+ instead. In short, no way to survive unless you're an Aegis PLD with a ton of support. That Aegis NPC lady held him off rather well.

I say we just do the inevitable, /bow down to our Taru masters and convert to Windyism!

They lost one of their areas too, hope it doesn't shake their foundation too much=S

Regarding the OP, Transporters can easily be killed with pet jobs in one hit from behind and yeah there are quite a few of them coming maybe 2-3 every hour or so? along with dropping bombs you'd need someone to stay out there and kill the transporters at least for a few hours.

Additionally you could attempt to solo the transporter on non pet jobs, it's harder but I don't think it's impossible since you have to deal with the guards as well

And time for my classic image to arise again.

Yet somehow Bastok and Windy Both have managed to gain some ground. Employing this exact same strategy. It takes action to see a response people, just waiting for SE to "fix" it doesn't cut it. Fact of the matter, last couple nights I watched some JP manage to get some Sand'Orian Influence simply by CURING NPC . Quit thinking about yourself and /assist the NPCs. Especially Generals I watched Leonyo- what ever his names is Single handily take out Poisonhand. just because someone was curing him. Its laziness people. Lets get soem territories back and quit talking about it.

I agree. Sandy need to gets it act together and win some territories back.

I always cure Leonoyne when I catch sight of him. He's my favourite >.>

I feel like leveling SCH for Campaign... to help cure.

Like I mentioned in the other thread I dumped all my tags on bombing the fort.. and er... learnt something about the transporters that I should know but wasn't thinking right on.

Too bad this isn't what we did to get bastok back.

You need to go to a zone that has a very easy to watch outpost and kill the campaign mobs before the battle actually starts. Eventually, you'll crush their morale so badly that they will retreat either before the battle even starts, or after killing 1-2 mobs. Don't need npcs, don't need more than 3 or 4 people.

We got Pashhow_S back from full beastmen with only 5 people.

I for one am rather disgusted that every time I try to organize any attempt at getting San D'Oria an area I can only ever manage to get 2 people that want to try. Everyone else is too busy doing whatever they can to get XP (completely ignoring dead players in need of raises, dumping hate on somebody else fighting the mob and running, not curing others, etc.) I for one will be switching to Windurst for Campaign tonight as I'll actually be able to get something done there.

Hi there ^^

I'm reposting some efforts of my own research along with new things I'm learning as I go in order to clear up some popular misconceptions:

  • Transporters can be one-shotted from behind by anyone with sneak and invis. The same holds true for the "Engineering Units" (Clan Bear for the Orcs, Gold Badgers for Sandy) that are dispatched to repair major fortification damage. I'm not exactly sure what triggers the deployment of the engineers, but it seems to be a combination of low fortifications and several unsuccessful attempts by the transporters.

  • Killing Campaign mobs between battles will lower their morale and force them to retreat. This is definitely an option; however, there seems to be a time limit on how long you can take to kill any mobs on which you have hate. If you exceed that limit, that mob's entire unit will warp out in victory, thereby increasing their regional influence and morale. That being the case, it's only a viable strategy if you're there in sufficient numbers to kill very quickly. If you happen to link one or more mobs, especially if they're from different enemy units, pretty much all bets are off.

  • Instead of acting in an entirely reactive capacity, go proactive. Watch the dispatch messages while you're in town. There's always roughly ten minutes between "Unit X" being dispatched to "Hellhole Y" and the actual start of battle. If you're there early, either drag a widescanner along with you, or make your way toward the zone line nearest to the nation from which those dispatched forces hail. This is to learn the various paths the NPCs take to reach the enemy fort. They seem to generally spawn at least in the direction of their home towns, though not right at the zone. Once you're fairly confident you know the paths they take, it's a fairly simple matter to pull single mobs into their path and stall the NPCs from rushing blindly into the enemy and dying ugly deaths. In other words, five "solo artists" in the right locations is all it really takes to act as "NPC Dams," and that's in a bad zone like East Ron, which has five avenues of approach from what I've seen. Compare that with the two paths I've observed in Jugner.

  • Lastly, in the name of all that is holy and good, STOP VOTING FOR PREEMPTIVE STRIKE at the morale desk. Know what a preemptive strike is? It's striking deep into enemy-held territory to disrupt supply lines, infrastructure, manufacturing, etc. It normally requires a vast commitment of manpower and resources (see Allied Daylight Precision Bombing in WWII for more details), so it's great if successful, disastrous and wasteful if it's not. We are surrounded. That means it's time to tighten up our battlelines (Battleline Preservation - [Please check it.]) and grab resources and hold onto them like grim death (Resource Procurement). Wanna know why Sandy attacks Jugner, Battalia, Vunkerl, and the Necropolis two to three times as often as they attack East Ron? Preemptive strike is your answer.

Anyway, that's all I can think of for now, but yes I'm on total agreement that it's time for Sandy to put somethin up in the win column.

If even a fraction of the people helped take territorys back rather than spam songs by the npc tags person in town, you'd have all your territorys back I'm sure.

Yep people are lazy they'd rather spam songs than raise a sword to help the cause. I saw a lv 72 sam with a lv 5 bard sub the other day singing away by the tags npc, for christ sake you're a SAM go hit something is that why you leveled the job so you can spam brd songs!?

when i rebuild my buffer on rdm reau, hit me up I feel like doing something later tonight if you wish

I started MPKing those assholes haven't gotten GMed yet >_> I'd recommend if you see them standing around to do the same they eventually have to get sick of it and do something or GTFO.

Theres an LS named ForcesofAltana (mostly JPs) that goes around to different zones (namely Bastokan zones) to get them back from the beastmen. I ran with them for about an hour in Pashhow and managed to get the area back right away. If anyone sees me in campaign send me a tell and lets team up to kill some shit!

So if I'm hearing everyone right even if I want to get some exp on a job that's too low to hit any of the mobs or when I do I hit for 0 that's better than spaming brd songs that will get me more exp faster so I can lvl up and then actually help out? I can understand getting mad at the 70+ players doing this since they can actually make a difference but it's not like low lvl players have much of a choice, either sing songs or hit for 0 and miss most of the time which is basicly the same since it doesn't help either way.

I'm usually campaining while seeking and there's not much better way to pass the time while seeking than getting exp and not having to worry about death for the most part.

If anyone wants to try and get areas back as a group and I'm online and in the past I'd be glad to help out with either of my 75s.
