So, if you were going to quit and your character regardless of what linkshell you were in and could be useful to it had huge value, you wouldn't sell it? That's a bit hard to believe for anyone, it's one thing to say you hate rmt and those who support it, but it's another to be in that circumstance and say who really gives a damn? It's a game, now it's time to reep the benefits of the time I lost.
You didn't do anything wrong in my book sano, you didn't lie about what you did, and you aren't denying anything. You were a cool dude, take care~
This is a good post to quote, and I hope it can emphasize my opinion best.
I think he did do something wrong, if only in morality's case. No one likes to see people selling gil, or RMT in general.
The issue lies in that the situation is a very hard one to ignore, or even more so, look the other way. It's either very close to, or a majority of posters in here that have either said they would out right do the same thing he did or have a hard time choosing, I'm one of those people for sure.
In the end, I probably wouldn't do it, if for no reason other than I would just feel a bit dirty in the end for it all. Would I have a hell of a time getting over the fact that I threw away that kind of money? Hell yeah, you bet I would. It would probably bother me either way.
I'm rambling a bit here, but my point is that while he did do something wrong, I think that bashing him hardcore on it (I don't think that very many if anyone in here has done that honestly) is a bad approach, as I believe it would be a very hard choice for just about anyone in here to make.
I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to say on this for a while, I think that got it out. Feel free to critique, no one liners here.
