For those of you that knew her, I'm sad to say that Sphene has passed away in a car accident.

She may have been abrasive to some here on these boards, but she fiercely defended her friends and was a wonderful person to those who got to know her.

I, personally, am very glad that I was able to call her a friend. May she rest in peace.

Holy shit...

We've butted heads before and had jabs here and there, but....

I hope she's in a better place, my condolences to her friends/family.....

i am really speechless..I like Sphene though she may have been a hothead sometimes and loose her temper.

Oh gosh guys I'm totally speechless..she used to be in my ls and she was always kind and tried to help us out as best as possible..even though she did have a temper.

Again..I really don't know what to say..I'll miss you Sphene..you were a great person, RIP :(

I can't bring myself to believe this, she was a wonderful person to know and a wonderful in-game friend. I wish my condolences to her friends and family.
I missed her since she left this game, I'm going to miss her even more now.

May she rest in peace.
 
Also speechless, Sphene was a very good person, and will definitely be missed by many. I'm just sad i couldn't have known her more deepley.

Holy shit >.> Sphene and I spent a lot of time talking about each others disabilities. She will be missed.
 
I remember her from Bigfunn. I never really knew her personally, saw her temper a few times but she seemed like a good person. My condolences to her family and friends. Hopefully she's safe and in a better place now.

wow was close to dying myself, I wish she had the same luck and grace of God that I was granted

I met her wondering around Baudaux trying to find coffer key mobs for her pld af. She was lvl 59, so I got a couple of my buds to come help us hunt it. Got the key on the very first kill and could see a coffer from where we got the drop.

Not too long after that , she charged some gil sellers 1 million gil for a raise in eldieme, and watched them die to a lich and offered another raise for 1 million gil. It was good times. I think I have pics. I'll post em when I get home.

She even took a pearl from my shell and dropped in every once in a while.

Wow, I remember her from BigFun as well. I always got along with her, was fun to talk to. It's so sad that things like this have to happen... may she rest in peace, and best wishes to her family and friends.
 
My condolences to anyone who knew her closely. The few times I've been around Sphene in game were extremely pleasant, she will be missed.
