SCH Solo

I'm soloing SCH using that guide as well (47 currently), but I'd imagine there wouldn't be much of a change. You're still going after pets, the only difference between SCH and BLM post 50 (when BLM gets their first AM), is that BLM can one shot.
 
There's no reason you can't follow the BLM guide all the way, I solo/duoed BLM to 75 with a friend and after about 60 we stopped using AM anyway. All it means is that you will level slightly slower between 50-60 but it's still possible, just keep your NIN sub instead of swapping to WHM or RDM like a BLM would.

I remember starting the leeches in Gustav Tunnel at 49BLM solo, and had few problems even without AM.
 
Should be totally fine it just means the exp is slower than one shotting because you have to actually watch the mob position. Honestly I solo'd RDM a little bit on leech pets at 51 and the only factor that slowed me down is mob movement otherwise I could hit chains just as easy as I did with BLM because of Refresh/Convert so I would say couple better nukes, higher mp efficiency in general of SCH, and Sublimation together and you will have no problem soloing anything a BLM can solo.
