se and there stupid af armor

Well to be precise, I said that 1.4 million for a single strength point (since amemet+1 and whatever mantle have the same attack boost) was foolish.

I don't know how difficult/rare the upgrade items are for the relic armors, and so I am unaware of the cost of upgrading relic armor at this time. I didn't think they'd be sellables. They could be insignificant in price. They could make coins of 1-2 million in gil look insignificant.

I'm going to make a huge jump and equate that summoner's piece to a foragers mantle (aka: amemet+2). To be fair, it's not got engame best buffs on it, and if it weren't relic no one WOULD upgrade it for money. Let's say it's a drk piece, and it's the new best though. Would I support a drk paying 2 million gil for it so long as it was from me? That's what you're getting at I suppose. You want to see if my position changes now that I'm the have instead of the have-not I was in the forager example.

Assuming that a dark knight wouldn't respond by paying an arm and a leg for his upgrade items in addition to buying coins at a flat rate (because if a summoner has to upgrade to nothing for 2 million, the drk is going to have to pay more for "endgame best" buffs), I support him upgrading.

However, if this dark dishes out 3.4 million gil for an upgrade item while a summoner's upgrade items go for 30k, forget it. Drk's an idiot. You have to keep in mind that coins will offer a HUGE buffer in the upgrade of these pieces if the upgrade items are rare/ex, and if they aren't rare/ex then people will dish out specifically for specific upgrades. And if that drk pays for insignificant better out his ass, then he's in the same boat he's always been to me. That I'm the dealer instead of the onlooker makes no difference as to my opinion of him.

But keep in mind how much damage that drk will do on account of me. And I'm not talking damage against Fafnir. If a drk comes at me drooling for his relic+1 HQ because it helps him "be the best" I'm going to laugh and raise the price out of his reach. If he wants to get his endgame affected on in MY arena he'll be paying 1st class, not NA class. JP's will have the same idea that any NA godsheller will, but they'll have three times the gil to work with. So if he comes at me thinking 40k is the new deal, Jp's going to raise that beyond comprehension.

Cubs, NA can never catch up. As soon as a single person thinks 40k coins are a deal on this side, 40k is no longer the asking price. Comes with the territory. It's relic and dynamis.

More like comes with being a complete retard douchebag, right?

I reprise what I say about your shell. They deserve no pity or sympathy. I don't care who they are at this point. They're dumbfucks for being around you and supporting you.

I can't help it you can't pay for true quality so you settle for dropping your lunch money on +1 strength.

All you're doing is causing problems for the current unsuccessful. You're a douchebag. Have fun. Glad I'm well beyond that point.

No, I'm reminding you all that you're not first class. So stop acting like it. I support two people when it comes to dynamis coins. One is the people who deserve a market weapon. And that isn't you. Never will be. Another is someone in the shell that we may upgrade at no cost whatsoever. You can never earn it, so I either give it to people to have, or I give it away for free.

Crap.
You can never earn it, so I either give it to people who DID earn it, or I give it away for free.

I can afford it, don't kid yourself junior. I opt not to, cause really, the hand to hand one is far from worth it. Keep sucking that japanese dick while you can, it's over, believe me.

Skaw, I will laugh my ass off if you come to get your HQ on in my bazaar. The second your pauper hands come near my coins, they'll already have sold for 4 times more than what you ever thought you were entitled to.

The thing is, your bazaar is nothing to me. You cannot obtain what will make me better, it'll be a sad day for you when you realize that. Sure I'm not first class, but I'm damn near it. And I know that sets you off worse than anything else.

I'm sorry. I don't deal with damn-nears. I mistook you for someone who mattered.

We have vastly different opinions of first class then. Many consider me first class already. Top Dog. Ask around. I lack one(1) item for me to consider myself first class, and I'm hard on myself for that.

Yeah you lack intelligence.
You lack the common sense to realize that you will never be first class based on what you wear in this game so long as you are Skaw. I'd have more respect for your mannequin wearing the same gear.

That's the thing. Some of these items are 'endgame best' (some of the Summoner Relic pieces included, Horn, Bracers, and so on) but you're putting a lot of gil AND time into making them 'endgame best +1.' I think if it were just gil that got these things the price of relic currency would skyrocket. Gil is in great supply and is easily the simplest commodity to get in-game (and out-of-game, but that's another topic.)

But it's not. You need the original relic piece, so for some of these upgrades you'll need to have Beaucedine/Xarcabard access AND have been lucky enough to lot the drop. Then off to the new Dynamis areas where you, again, need to get lucky with the rare/ex Ragged -1 drop you want. At this early stage, nobody knows where each piece drops, and it's going to be weeks at LEAST before people draw up effective win/farming strategies.

Then the crafted item. Some are easy. Gold Ingot. Expensive, but in supply and easy to get. Catoblepas Leather. Again, will be easy to find. Always tons of people XPing off Dhalmels.

Orpiment worries me. I have a hunch you can only mine it in Ifrit's. If so, that one's gonna be a huge pain to get.

Coins, I think, will be one of the easier things to get. Even if they ended up at 60 or 70k, people pay 4-5 million more for +2 Accuracy/Evasion on a Harness +1, they'll pay 1.5-2 million for what's available with Relic +1. If they're using Relic in the first place, that is.

But then we go back to the time factor. Again, if it were JUST gil, I wouldn't have a problem with dropping millions on an upgrade. But Gil + possibly 5-10 Dynamis-NewArea runs before I have my rare/ex upgrade piece? That's going to make people think twice about upgrading.

Just my opinion, though. I've not done Dynamis, and unless I get the endgame bug and want to destroy Wyrms or whatever with my SMN, I haven't a reason for it. Dynamis vets may feel differently, and I suppose the next month or so will show the market's demand for these upgrades. I think they'll rise. But if I wanted gil from endgame efforts like that, I'd go do Limbus since it looks much more varied and fun. Plus, the AF+1 from there ain't so bad either.

Fake edit: Jesus christ that's a lot of posts from when I started writing this.

people should do listen to this. I do. I find that the RDM AF2 pieces are CRAPTASTIC! The body is all pretty and all.. but good for fast claiming and faster cures.. that's about it. The hands.. good for solo-ing.. wee. The Boots are good for nuking as well as the pants and both of those are not too bad if solo-ing. I, personally, focus on Enfeebling Magic+ and INT/MND (more on Enfeebling Magic than anything else) and that is why when I do dynamis I go for 100 coin to help my relic little by little. I refuse to lot on AF2 pieces I don't intend to use but I know several that do. The only AF2 I want is that hat but I doubt I'll get that any time soon.

I felt this way before I got the body, now I find that for end game stuff, I almost never take it off. Dynamis, Faffhogg, Vrtra in particular, there are a lot of times when I'm chain casting spells other than enfeebles and I'll have 5-6 spells "backed up". The speed advantage in situations where I'm busy (and I seem to be busy a lot) is priceless...

The feet have MagAtt
The legs have Elemental Skill
The hands (the weakest piece) have Enhancing
The body has Fast Cast
The head has Enfeebling and Refresh.

No other equipment for a RDM adds these skills in these slots...

Quality gets more attention from me.
Yes, this isn't a straight market piece like cubs said. And because of that they will probably be protected from inflation and speculation due to the difficulty in obtaining the NQ. There will be reaction, but there will be moderate reaction. Maybe. Think back in the days when NQ and HQ scorps weren't all that different in price. Now they're starting to split more.

There may indeed be buffering because there are aspects to this armor that can never be bought. But even if there is massive buffering, do you really think three new areas equals more coins to go around? Enough increase in supply to make up for relic weapon hunters losing THEIR coins to YOU from MY bazaar? I know one thing when it comes to these chaps who drop 39k for a single coin. They come out the woodworks and stalk you as you exit the zone as soon as they know you're a high dealer. And they take them ALL with no hesitation. You don't grasp the gravity of these people until you see them first-hand. There is only one group of players that I have to respect due to what they POSSESS, and that is them, and none of you can hope to compete in that arena.

But think about it. All the dynamis vets already can't enter any more than they do. And I seem to be the only one going through the trouble of training an entirely new dynamis team to make the server more crowded. The rest are recycling old talent. And if af2+1 isn't that much better, it's not going to spark any new interest in dynamis. They can add all the dynami they want, but the only way to increase coin supply is to increase the drop rates the number of people in those zones. I'm already going in as often as is humanly possible, with all new faces. You can think what you want of them. It flatters me that you think I'm capable of conning so many people. Either I'm just that good or I'm not who you think I am.

But as for me and relic+1, I'd upgrade simply because I like the idea of spreading coins to the many instead of giving them all to a few. What a great way to give back to the whole shell instead of putting one person on a pedestal?

Try telling that to someone who is serious about upgrading.

I don't. I ask them to leave if they demand everone work for them. Like I said, it's not like anyone serious about it around here can afford it. They can just plead for the least amount of discount. I don't associate with this forum's "serious" relic upgraders. I think they're cute.

pere wouldn't have shit for a linkshell if the times didn't work for the people in it. i've got friends in its stupid linkshell and even though i tried pulling them out of it, they wouldn't leave because of "Time" conflicts with rl stuff.
most will leave once they get what they want from that shell, it doesn't hand out any money that it so claims to give out. they get access to new areas and there relic gear, then they will leave.
I recomend to save you all the trouble click the link in my sig, and save yourself the headache of pere's bull shit that he's posting by reading the "quotes" way to ruin another discusion by trolling it back to you FUCK WAD

lol what a coward. You show up here throwing names that shall not be named.

Dude, I already asked if people knew you in my shell. They said you were the most annoying japanese wannabe they know and had no idea what you were talking about.
