SE Windower, not working?

Windower 3.26 is working for me



For some reason, FFXI with Offical Window mode, make your body look wider for some odd reason

I can't even get the game to run. I've changed every graphical setting and even on bare minimum my game lags to the point of being unplayable. I have no idea how to fix it. Not trying to use unofficial or official windower currently. Guess I'll try to hunt down an older version of windower and see if I can at least play the damn game.
 
I'm disconnecting every 10 minutes or so, I just got my 6th disconnect since the servers came up.

Is there any way to get a real full screen and hardware mouse to work? If there isn't, then this is completely useless for me.
 
Using Windower 3.23 here. It's noticeably laggier, but works.
 
Offical window mode got me all blurry and body/everything seem wider, and very buggy, is like back in the day when i use SLI enabled and every movable object disappearing and reappearing when your camera angle had changed. I guess i need another graphic driver update to make it non-buggy again -.-

My shit works fine. Radeon X1650, Not sure about drivers, but they're only a couple months old.
 
3.3 is working for me, but I have a window popping up asking if I want to debug pol.exe. I'm just leaving that window in the corner but I'm playing the game just fine.

I just tried this. Windower works but I'm having the same problem with the game not running at all. Even as early as the Accept/Decline screen it's running so poorly that I can't move the cursor to Decline without pounding the arrow for 5-10 seconds. I just ran WoW and it runs just fine so it's not like my graphics card coincidentally blew up along with the update...
 
I guess older windower are the best lol

again 3.26 here, no dc'ion, no pol crashes, no nothing atm, graphic still the same as using windower
 
I'm running 3.3 fine, one of the problems people are having with Windower is that I think you need to need to disable the official windower.
 
SE only just introduced they're windower, so of course there are gonna be some problems with it, just like any other update they're done. Just give them a little time and they're gonna do an emergency maint that fixes a few bugs.
 
Updated video card drivers, still no-go. I've noticed that before it goes from pol to ffxi that my screen gets slightly brighter, which I assume is the gamma adjustment kicking in. This is also coincidentally right when my lag begins. Is there some way I can just not use the gamma adjustment, because I think that might be what's fucking everything up.
 
Welp, 3.3 doesnt work, nor does the older version. I'm stumped as to how to get this fucker to start -. -;
 
I've heard it's the recast plugin, try disabling that and trying to run Windower again.
 
checking files now. Moink seems to think it may be a vista thing.. but i don't think it's that.
