Search funtion

Because you touch yourself at night.

Do you mean a four letter minimum?

Spoiler:

nope, I mean 4 word limit

I believe this actually goes deeper then just a simple click. The people at vB changed it to 4 words for the 3.8.X upgrade because it would be easier on the database with large forums.

It's something that looks like it can be changed but the person who changes it *cough* would just need to get home from work and not check QCDN at lunch to poke around the FTP server.

it's odd, when I searched w/o the quotes I got results (about a billion but hey at least it didn't say "lol try again in a minute") so I'm flummoxed.

but I don't wanna sift through a billion posts ; ;

I did find the info I was looking for in one of the few threads I decided to look at >.>

The minimum for search words was bumped down to 2 words. That should be low enough for users and hopefully won't bog down someone's search too much.

And just to be a dick because I hate GBB, you spelled function wrong!

the search in vbulletin sucks... supposedly it will get better in vb4 due out around August/September.
