...Seriously though, if you work with gilsellers, you're no better than them asides the fact that you don't sell gil. You can't say you're not a bad person for helping them or something, that's like saying you're not a bad person for giving the guy the FA-MAS he used to mow down forty people at the airport.
 
Nothing wrong with working with gil sellers in my opnion.And i found out that people who bich so much about gil sellers pop those hauberks plus 1s and craft 100 out of no where all the time.So yeah.... i'd play my game and do w/e i think is right.But i don't see a reason to camp HNMS with gil sellers... cuz i'm not into them.Camping for 4 hrs <no thanks.>

Well... at least Fly's LS never MPKs like BoL and the biggest set of fucko's on ther server.. REDSKY, or Forgottenshadow / Superstar HNM as they are called today. In fact the Fly's and Peterli are pretty decent players, Peter is an awesome NIN in fact. Lately all the specific "Gildsellers" have left Fly's LS to go to RedSky's incarnations. REDSKY with Cows, Bettylilly, etc are the ones to complain about, anlong with racist assholes always talking down to chinese players for no reason... other than if they are chinese they must be sellers. Also if the Fly's sell gil... they must be some of the poorest sellers on the server.

You got jailed for racial remarks and violating the Play Online user agreement. The Fly's only crime was camping a NM.

But other than young punks thinking they can do whatever they want in the real or FFXI world, blame SE. Every decision they make seems to further stress the economy. Less drops.. harder BCNMs... but yet they make the maat fights easier and streamline xp.... My vote is that SE gets kick backs from all the open market gil sellers.. and gets lobbied to reduce or make it tougher to generate in game money.

Bottom line apart from this tangent is you were wrong period.

It happened. I recall the stink it made at the time. Supposedly the decision was made by the alliance leader on the spot that since the 2 gilseller groups were fighting each other at the time, they should ally with the one to out-claim the other.

heh I think the argument back then was that the Gilsellers wanted to help us (they weren't getting anything out of it) because they were in argument with the other Gilseller LS lol...

Nontheless, most of the members who were in that are not around any longer.

do we get angry at say... people in Columbia for making cheap coffee? some people do, because it's easy to make heroine there too. do they deserve our hatred? no.

Show me one person who deserves to be hated, and i'll show you a different person who deserves to be pitied.

I pity anyone who hates people indiscriminately. many people died because of really lame reasons (WW2 for example), where people hated the others because it was the "in" thing.

I refuse to do the "in" thing, i'd rather do the right thing and not be a part of the arguments.

If there was a blackmarket in Columbia for coffee beans, I'm sure the exporters would be VERY ANGRY with black marketers undercutting their product.

Here in this game, there is a black market for obtaining gil.

There are the exporters, I like to call them NM hunters and Crafters. You know - the ones who don't sell their product for RMT.

Then there are the black market mother fuckers. These guys take away from NM Hunters and Crafters alike, just to sell their product (gil) for RMT.


Open your eyes. You pieces of shit who say gil sellers are people too, may be right.

Alot of people throw gil-seller around with abandon...it's the most common insult/accusation on our server now...and it's often applied to the wrong people. According to some people's "logic" anyone who has ever been accused of it is one and anyone who knows them is just as guilty unless you immediately sever all ties with them.

I don't know how may of you remember your history well enough to remember a certain U.S. Senator from the 1950's nicknamed "Tail-Gunner Joe"? He was alot like some of the people on our server except he slapped a Communist label on you instead of Gil-Seller but other than that it all came out the same way. Guilt by association, guilty without proof, guilty without due process, guilty without a fair chance at a defence. Also like our server "Joe" and his cohorts targeted people who were unable to defend themselves for the most part.

I supposed we could always ban entire segments of the human race based on their nationality but when great minds speak or write about our "shrinking world" they were refering to our growing closer not withdrawing into ourselves in an attempt to protect our carefully nurtured fears and prejudices. Thank you.....
