There is always the possibility that one of these guys can be right about these things. Even though i'd like to be sure none of this will happen, I honestly can't make jokes about the content i've seen here.

Here is some up to date news (the entire page and all it's sections) regarding the U.N. dealing with Iran and their Nukular program. France and China are all for it. Of coarse the United States is not. It's about with resisting nukular inspection. To make a long story short. Bush and Putin say it's ok for Iran to treat Urainum, but only if it's done in Russia. Iran refuses. America literally feels Iran handeling Nukular materals is a threat to the world. Iran says they just want to peacefully generate electricity with it.

There is also a section that mentions how Iran purchased an illeagal missle that is capable of carrying nucklar warheads.

As far as the Bible goes, it's definatly not to be taken for granted. Imagine Noah's arc.... It it decribed to us in this way, and it is to our imagination that the arc was made from wood and what not. It could have been an entirely different vessle, as we can't possibly know what technology was up and about before this flood. Many would believe Noah's arc was far fetched.
At this point it's looking more as a guide line, as the story in itself stated the non believers poked fun and critisize Noah, even had a celebration when Noah was bracing for impact.
Aside from that, next time we will destroy ourselves. And eventually somewhere along the lines of history this civilation we live in would also be a far fetched story to our own seeds, in a distant future. "A Tale of us having weapons so powerful we destroyed the world" I can honestly see how an upcoming civilation would think that is utter bullshit, while we here know it's real.

Even though time has passed and no end occured, there is still a lesson to be learned. If there was one, many would choke on their own ignorance while being too shocked to even worry about how they spent their last moments.
When a sane/insane man put's his reputation on the line infront of millions of people, it's time to prepare ourselves, regardless the situation. The Bible did say we would destroy ourselves AND the News is telling us about Nukular conflicts between world leaders.
The Mayan calendar does end on 2012. 5 years 3 monthes is pleanty of time for us to nuke ourselves.
How does it go again ? "The world will be destroyed when the Bear, the Eagle, and ( i don't remember) come together"
America being the Eagle and Russia the Bear, the 3rd i can't remember if there was one, but i can almost remember there being a 3rd. maybe it was China, but in this this case the Eagle wants the Bear to handle Nukes for another nation, and China is one of the few who dosn't give a damn right now, France too might i add. Could swear someone posted something about France Iran and China hitting the states with Nukes.
There may or may not be a Nukular war in our lifetime. But if one did come to pass, you'd be able to ask anyone if they want a priest and they would probably says yes.
