Seriously frustrated.

You in Calgary too? a few people from FF are that i've talked to. So far the nicest place i've lived in, in Canada (besides Nova Scotia <3 ) was Victoria, BC.

Yup yup, all my life. Victoria is really nice too, I love going there, and I only hear good things about the east.

Eh close enough. REPRESENT!

I had the chance to work in Fort Mac. The money is just stupid. They were offering $2500/mo for living expenses on top of a massive boost to my salary. All in, it was almost a $50,000/yr raise.

After reading your experience I'm glad I said no.

woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, i got a new job in Cold lake! I get to move out of this shit hole.... I hear Cold lake isn't bad, town based around a air base. Plus i get LoA pay at the new job, hehe /psych!

It's always a liberating feeling to get out of bad situations. Congrats to you on the new opportunity Eor, hope it goes much better for you than the current crappy town you are in.

Fort mac is a hell hole, congrats on getting the hell out of there!

As a fellow Canadian, I am all too familiar with the drug situation in those kinds of places.

Money is good, but your well being is better. Get outta there and breathe easy.

As for the 2 guys.. /highfive. Nothing better then smashing the face of someone talking shit, even if you take a few on the chin.

For lulz:

I was working the bar one night and sent my girls home, since it was slow. I had a guy come up for beers, and I told him he had enough, and to go home and sleep it off.

After a few seconds, i was ducking flying mugs, taking a stool to the ribs, hitting him in the face with a bat, getting headlocked and laced in the jaw 4 times.

I feel your pain man.

wow thats some crazy stuff ive learned where i live at, just outside New Orleans, Louisiana, considering im in that town quite a bit that its pretty much a must to carry a pistol in your vehicle (thankfully its totally legal as long as you let an officer know that you are in possession of a firearm even during a simple traffic stop) ive seen first hand how bad it can get especially after hurricane katrina and rita hit this area. glad to hear that youve got the chance to get away from those kinds of situations i would but all of my family lives in areas surrounding New Orleans and everytime i move away i end up back here for one reason or another
