Shaida---Windar---whatever

I know what I'm about to say is completly off topic and I know this topic should/is dead, but I feel like this needs said. While reading this something just seemed to bother me. Someone mentioned that this game is based on reputation. I strongly disagree and find you very much wrong. At this moment I do not remember who said it and I spologize lol. Anyway, most of the people that come to this board, I'd say just about everyone, does not know me or who I am, and yet I still get around, do things, get what I need or want, and I'm FAR from popular. I'm not saying you can't have a reputation, and it's all well and good if you are well known and people like you, but it is definatly not required to succeed in this game. As new people come to this game, said "bad person" can still get what they want or need pretty easily. When I started getting around my 70's for my Summoner I had to start thinking about God Ls's and HNM's and all that fun stuff. Well, people started telling me about BoL and OH and whatever other Ls's are out there and I kept asking "Who are they?" Why? Because I never really cared to know about them and I still don't. I could care less what a Ls does, has done, or will do. I didn't/don't have a reputation and I got into OH pretty easily (Was later kicked from the Ls because I stood up for a friend, but that's another story.) and I had....SOME....fun. Not because I was not well known, but because at that current time I was not quite Lv.70 so I was not able to attend some of the better events. I just thought I should point out that reputation only goes so far in this game, atleast to me, and it does not make or brake the game for one said person.

A good reputation will get you far. No reputation will get you most places.

Wataza, if you had a bad reputation, you'd know about it. A bad reputation won't keep you from doing the things you feel you'd like to get done, a driven person can do anything they wish. But, why stomp on people's toes and have a bad attitude, lie, cheat and all that stuff when it's not necessary?

Some people are just like that. When dealing with people in an MMORPG, you realize that more often than nought thier real personality shows through and shines true. Chances are, if a person is cool and get's along with other people in real life, then they'll do well in an MMORPG. But people who constantly whine and cheat and all that other crap... well...

...you can draw your own conclusions.
 
Yea go read the "Stealer" thread she made to see what an lying idiot she is.... and now she'll come back and say im "retarded" and i can't type yadayadyada.
 
I understand entirely what you are saying Excim, however, the post that I read, to me, sounded like since she "stepped on so many toes" that her game was over and that she should just quit. I admit, from hearing testimony, that maybe she should quit, I cannot judge this myself since I do not know said thread person, but it just seemed like the post was the monster killing her and her screen saying GAME OVER.

On a side note, people that try to belittle others, drag them into drama, say stupid shit they don't know jack about, and flat out lie about things there is no reason to lie about (is there ever a reason?) should be hung from the rafters. I know I have no use for them.

Unfortunatly, we've got to put up with these people reguardless. After all, they really aren't breaking any rules, are they? Being an asshole in real life won't get you thrown in jail, but it might get some eggs thrown at you.

And that's all a flame is, an egg throwing contest. You wanna be an ass about something? Someone's going to call you out and throw some eggs. Learn to deal with it, or stop being an asshole.

We'd prefer you to just stop being an asshole.

I know in one particular instance said person won't be able to get into at least three different HNM and sky LS's...

But who's to say (s)he won't be able to find another one? The point is, this game is a LOT more fun and productive the fewer enemies you make. Some people don't get that. It's not about "frontin'" or anything like that... some people really view this game as a competition, not a chance to share an experience and play the game with others.

Those people get many eggs thrown at them.

"Her" game isn't over. But "she" hasn't made it any easier on "her"self by being so obnoxious.

Adding to your egg analogy, I'd say from having said eggs thrown at her she could always make fried eggs, meaning she has a game left to play, she just has to chose how to fry her eggs.

Pride is a sin. If you cannot come clean to everyone about what you've done wrong, you will get no acceptance. The deeper a hole you dig, the less light there is going to be to shine on you.

Honestly, it takes more guts to know when to retreat than to stick to your guns when you know you're wrong. In the act of saving face, you are in fact losing it, and many people don't realize that until it is indeed to late.

People who apologize and come clean get a lot of respect, because it sin't the easy thing to do. So long as they don't pull a Shizia and do it every month after they do and say something stupid.


But anyway...
 
ok enough everyone please, she was wrong at the start and she brought this all on herself but damn im tired of seeing this thread wind was a good friend of mine for along time. And i honestly would just like for this thread to die
