Okay, this is the scenario. I was trying to help a couple of my static members try to catch up on CoP so we did a shout in Aht Urghan for a couple people. Yes, I know. I do a shout..and I should expect crap. But this is ridiculous. We go a head and go all the way to Boneyard Gully and he says "kk, brb".

Usually, when a person says "brb" I expect them to be back within a couple of minutes. My party waits for about 30-45minutes on this guy (We were in Boneyard Gully..Wishful thinking he'd return..I was wrong.) Long story short, Our RDM warps back and finds us a 6th person and is almost to the camp.

Then, he sends me this:

If you value your time, don't pick this guy up. He'll waste an hour of your life you'll never get back.

people aren't even very imaginative with their lies anymore, which is why when i want go afk to burn one i'll just shout in the middle of killing something " OMG MY BABY IS THROWING UP BLOOD!!! " and just go have a smoke. when i come back everyone is glad i'm back and relived to learn that the baby i never had is okay.

on a more serious note. this guy could actually have narcolepsy but my bet is that he wanted to get this done, but felt like doing something before hand, believing you guys would be suckers and wait for him

ok, so he has narcolepsy. can't flame the guy for that. though you shouldn't feel overly bad since your initial perception of the situation is usually spot on. if this behavior hadn't have become so common place people would be more willing to believe narcolepsy, and babies throwing up blood

My only thing with him was the fact that he told us he was AFK and then an hour later he says "oh sorry I fell asleep". I'm not flaming for the narcolepsy..flaming the way it came about..sounds fishy..
 
Well I don't know about everyone else but I think, and this is my undisputed opinion that this flame izzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Jesus this guy must have had at least 4 flames on him now. you would think people would learn not to do stuff with him.
 
If I had narcolepsy... I would make sure it's stated in my Bazaar comment screen, along w/ my Cellphone number OR a comment telling people to kick me if I become unresponsive. Oh, BTW, maybe I'm mistaken, but don't they have medication that helps prevent narcolepsy?

Narcoleptic sleepwalking? Hes a small timid kid whos parents can easily pick him up and carry him somewhere if they find him laying in a room somewhere during one of his episodes?
Jesus? Narcoleptic Teleportation? Bullshit? He went afk to get an Aquapod from the fridge and never made it back to the PC? He was knocked unconscious during a break in and raped and that story was far too embarrassing? Or the ever evident Narcoleptic HAX!!!

I fell asleep xping on black mage in Qufim once. Party took 30 minutes to notice I was /healing for a little too long. Woke up, /sighed, warped. Then again, it was like 1 AM on a school night when I woke up...

Some people really are just tired. But in this person's case? Probably not.
