In simple words: She's stupid and got some problems.

EVERY battle she uses her 2 hour

Battle1: Shiva readies Diamond Dust: You die

Battle 2: Shiva randomly decided to Diamond Dust, hahah sucker you die

Battle 3: Shiva readies Diamond Dust (run away!) I'm sorry, she doesnt like you and it hit you too -_-"

Its always before the 3rd SL! I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!

You are using the triple Searing Light method. That one has an almost 100% guarentee that the avatar will indeed nail you with it's 2 hour. I prefer to melee them down to 2/3 and then double SL. Also leaves room for error in case a resist occurs.

lol Shiva is a Bitch, she has serious anger issues :P I dont know if the pld sucked or something but she kill him in one hit and he was level 73 with a few pieces of adaman armour. I really do hate her.
 
Don't give up on Shiva. She can be beat. Yes, she's a fiesty b*tch and she's going to use her diamond dust on you. The thing is, you know that she's going to. With Shiva, I just made sure to have potions and hipotions on me so that whenever I had under the amount of health where DD was going to kill me, I would take one. Are you eating anything to boost your vitality?

Hmmm, I used the 3 time SL method on her (In the mini-avatar battle) and she didn't use Diamond Dust once. o.0 Guess I got lucky.

Normally the avatar will 2hr after the second Searing Light. The way I always avoided it was to start running right as I saw Carbuncle jump into the air to do his Searing Light. With that much of a head start you're almost guaranteed to be out of range.

Heh, I got hit by 2hrs twice, Garudas and Ramuhs. I just chugged a few potions, resummoned carby and went on to win.
 
she is a pain but Ramauh is much worse the trick is like someone else posted the second carby jumps to start searing light run like hell normally you will get far enough or at least far enough not to take the full brunt chug a few potions but do not do it next to the prime that will give you hate do not give up I know it's tough but you can do it^^
 
Hm, every time I've been hit with a min avatar's 2hour it's done more than my max HP...

Plus they usually hit me once or twice while I get Carby resummoned and he gets hate...
 
I fought her again...and died...again V_V

I survived her 2 hour though xD But she slapped me to death before i could summon Carby again.

I just wanna do prime battles :/
 
You'll get her. I did this fight with a party yesterday. If you go with a PT I suggest BRDs because all the buffs I got gave me 117 ice resistance. We only lost one because the fight ended so quickly the BRD didn't get a chance to 2hr to renew buff. But yeah, it was a nice party and it was fun stomping her.
